Normally, I'm a steak guy. Today however, I tried the Cooper's Hawk Chicken Giardiniera.
Oh my goodness! So good. Two thin, breaded, perfectly cooked chicken cutlets on top of mashed potatoes, topped with giardiniera. Savory, tangy, it was delicious.

We went to Cooper's Hawk for the first time Saturday evening. The food was good but nothing to rave about. The oven roasted vegetables were below average and overcooked. If you are a wine enthusiast, this may be your place. If you are looking for a steak, this may not be the place to go. Aside from the Steak Churrasco which wasn't anything special, the only other beef is filet medallions, and short ribs. I cannot speak to the short ribs but the filet medallions were also good but not great. Would we go back, maybe. Would we explore other options first, yes.

Food: got the churrichimi grilled steak. Steak was room temp when I received it, flavor was good though. They lay it over the fries which makes them soggy, nice presentation I suppose, but I really don’t want soggy fries. Veggies were burnt.
Service: nice girl, refilled my water. Gave some of our food away to another table by mistake, but stuff happens.
Atmosphere: nice.
Kid-friendliness: Gave my nephew some attention and gave him some stuff to color on. Pretty cool.

Party of 3 for an early dinner. Very nice, upscale establishment with emphasis on wine tasting. Ordered drinks and appetizers at first. Waitress was attentive and brought the drinks and appetizers in a timely manner. The appetizers were very good and full of flavor. Time between appetizers and main course was rather long, hence the 4 star rating for service. Once the food arrived the presentation was spot on. Surf and turf option (pork chop and salmon) was very good and cooked perfectly. The Parmesan Chicken was also very, very good. The last dish was a specialty burger which didn’t have must flavor to it and was really rather bland. This was the only reason I didn’t give food a 5 star rating. I would visit again in the future.

Really nicely decorated restaurant. Food was tasty and reasonable portions. They offer 2 free tastes of any wines which I think is a great idea. Would recommend.

Always love coming to do a wine tasting! Deb and Jessica are so awesome and make the experience definitely worth coming! This time we asked to take a took at the Chef recommendations for food and Chef Edmund came to talk with us personally and go through all of the dishes on the list. Very personable and such a great experience overall! We decided to stay and eat and he even came out to visit us!

Had a filet which was delicious but what blew me away were Mary's potatoes.
Love the wine. Got 2 free samples and ended up with a glass of red which was recommended for my dish. Our server Lucia was wonderful throughout.

Since there is a large bar, sometimes the noise is a little too loud. This location is brand new in the West Valley. The service is excellent and the staff is so accommodating. Great place to eat.

The food is fantastic. Ellie's Chicken Piccatta is my go-to. Beautifully rich creamy lemony flavor with chicken lightly breaded on a bed of pasta. Their house wines and ales are refreshingly impressive as well. The staff, while competent and attentive, generally don't appear particularly happy to be there. While it seems like Cooper's Hawk would be a sort of fancy, upscale place, it's rather disappointing on that front.
