Very friendly staff. Food was OK. Fried rice didn't seem particularly fresh. Orange Chicken had decent flavor but was a little chewy. Kung Pao Chicken was just OK. Everything just seemed a bit uninspired. I didn't have anything bad, but nothing stood out as great either. It was all fine, just coming from LA I'm used to better

We usually go during their lunch hour because items on their lunch menu is affordable and easy on the budget. Under a new management, their food tastes better, their service is better and the atmosphere is just right!

Rice taste like garbage. Sweet and sour pork is old pork. Calamari was in the freezer to long. Broccoli beef was OK.
Happy family was o k everything else trash. What a waste of good money.

Not sure how long this place has been around but SO glad it finally popped up when I search for a Chinese food restaurant ear me! Not only did they call to very my note regarding a food sensitivity but the food was also exquisite according to my daughter and num-nums (meaning good eats) from my husband who ALWAYS has his Mongolian beef messed up somehow or super fatty meat. He said it was perfect and they had the flavors spot on! Even with ingredients omitted mine was SO good! This is my new place for cravings. PLEASE don’t change! Stay consistent and we will be back again and again!!!! Thank you for making good quality food! Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow 🤤

Lots of food! Very friendly staff. They have TVs but nothing was on when we went. General Tso was not spicy at all...we would have liked it to be somewhat spicy, it was more sweet. Decorations and atmosphere were very nice. I'd definitely go again.

I had ordered delivery from here many times and the food has always been great, but we stopped in for dinner for the first time with the kids. Food was great, service was excellent and staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

When i mentioned my son doesn't like food touching when asking about how it comes out, they brought us a little kids plate to separate his. It was so thoughtful!

Absolutely the Best Chinese Food in Surprise!

This is a super relaxed spot for Chinese food in Surprise, AZ and honestly, probably the best around. The food is always fresh, the prices are very reasonable, and the service strikes the perfect balance: attentive without being pushy, and they let us enjoy our meal at our own pace.

Their egg drop soup is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. My personal go-to is the L9 lunch special; sweet and sour chicken. Crispy, flavorful, and always hits the spot. If you're craving quality Chinese food in a chill setting, Good Fortune is the place.

I ordered Pork Egg Foo Young. The worst I ever had. It looked like 3 meatballs with no taste at all instead of the pork being chopped it was in slices inside and very tough and old. The circumference of them were about 3 inches and about no veggies fried in the Pattie at all. It was more like meatballs and tasteless. They went in the trash as it made me gag. These were not made fresh. The t must have been in the freezer forever. NEVER AGAIN. If I wasn’t so far away it would have gone back.

Pork Fried Rice Literally had no EGG , PEAS OR CARROTS ...... it was 98% Rice and the flavor was weak and had to add my own ingredients wont be back. If a Chinese restaurant can't even do fried rice correctly why even be in business?
