While staying in Phoenix to visit family. We went for dinner 1st night while checking in late at our hotel. Asked what was open and close... They recommended I&J Fountain... 5 minutes from our hotel...We had a great time the first night with karaoke... Then went back a couple nights later with my Dad (70)..They had a one man band.. playing the best of county /rock oldies. Both nights the food was terrific!! Price was terrific!! The service was terrific! Our server Julian took terrific care of us both nights. Great server! Go in and ask for him. He has great recommendations and is super attentive.

Two 40 year old gals looking for some good home cooked eats stumbled upon decent and varying reviews of this restaurant. Not going to lie.. as we pulled up to the parking lot and saw that this hidden gem is literally nestled into a mature retirement facility we definitely felt in over our heads! We decided to complete the mission and head inside anyways and boy was it the right choice! What a wholesome experience, one to remember indeed! We happened to stumble upon the Thursday night country band and got to see some of Sun City's finest country singers and two-steppers! What a vibe and what a fun, nostalgic and lively bunch. The food was good too.. took a few extra shakes of that salt and pepper though! But completely understand that some of the crowd is on a low sodium diet! Give this place a shot, support local businesses!
