Let a 10 year awsome employee go over a uniform issue. Wish Nick never sold it, he was better to employees and miss him walking around talking to everyone. The food was great, good prices as well but my only complaint was I wasn't allowed a booth because we needed a highchair. While I understand not wanting to serve food with a baby at the end of the table, having to keep my autistic son in a seat isn't my idea of a relaxing meal.

What a Great Breakfast I had today. After a Veteran event in El Mirage I wanted something to eat. I found the AZ Diner so I headed to the location. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and iced tea. I didn't even look at the menu. I asked, my sweet server said they had it, so I placed my order. I forget my servers name but she was so professional, personable and she took care of me. A mature young lady with skills. The food didn't take long before she brought out my plate. It tasted like home cooking. I live on 35th Ave and Bell Rd and will have to go back. They are not close but they are worth the drive. I saw other items both on the menu and plates going to other patrons I want to try. I highly recommend this place for a yummy meal. Best wishes. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

We had never been here and decided to try this place for breakfast. We were seated not too long after arriving. Maybe 10 mins? Our server was very personable. Coffee was good, but for $4 a cup, it better be! (One of the reasons we don't go out to eat often anymore!) I always order decaf and usually it's very light and not too good, but this one was stronger tasting, like a reg. coffee. Hubby and I both ordered the eggs Benedict. Well, I did NOT like it, one bit! The hollandaise sauce tastes more like some sort of gravy than anything else. Not one bit of that sauce even remotely resembled any hollandaise sauce I have EVER had! (Not one drop of lemon was added! I personally thought it was disgusting.) So I sent it back (the server was very kind and did so with a smile) and ordered a regular egg breakfast with a pancake. Potatoes were pretty good, although I had to add plenty of salt and pepper because there was no indication of any sort of spices on them. But once the s&p was added, they were tasty. Eggs came perfect, bacon crisp and pancake was really good. Hubby didn't mind his bene, but he doesn't like to send food back unless the food is absolutely intolerable. I, on the other hand, am paying for the food, and if I don't like it, I send it back. 🤷🏻 We will go back again and try their skillets or an omelette, but I wish that they would learn how to make a REAL hollandaise sauce!!! 😔
