Stopped by for my Birthday Bundt and let me tell you, Ms. Joy was an absolute Joy to interact with. Her welcoming smile and cheery disposition was so refreshing. The Holiday decorations really put you in the perfect mood.

Trying to buy a cake for my 30th birthday and called right before closing that I was going to be 2 min late they said I can still make it… then I arrive and they say they can only sell me an individual cake and not a cake big enough for 4 people to celebrate my birthday. Despite having 6 cakes the size I wanted ready to go. She didn’t want to have to “remake” another cake to replace it. Horrible customer service especially for a business that capitalizes on making events special. You truly dropped the ball on this birthday dinner celebration.

Wow. I have dropped close to $1000 at this store in the last 5 days. I asked for them to set aside some decorations for my order to be picked up (toothpick decorations for the buntis) and because of thier service policy I have to walk in and pick them out. I would have even paid for them before hand. Not a big deal AT ALL for me to do so, I was sending someone to pick up for me and I was just trying to be respectful to the person helping me out and make it easier.

I got the chocolate chip. There’s no damn chocolate chip chips in it. What a freaking waste I was pissed off when I ate it and there’s nothing in there will not go back six dollars my ass and go to rallies. Get a whole meal for four dollars.

These cakes are such an amazing texture. I don’t know how they do it. Airy and satisfying, moist without being wet or gummy. The birthday boy usually scrapes the frosting off cakes, but he loved his red velvet! Just the right amount of sweetness and a perfect cake to icing ratio.

It was my first time getting a cake from them, so I don’t know if this is standard practice for the company or unique to this location/staff member, but the customer service was phenomenal. She came into the middle of the shop to talk to me instead of standing behind the counter, then walked me through all of my options for decorations as if she was excited for my son to get his cake.

And then it came out wrapped, and it just elevated the ‘specialness’ of it all. Birthday boy was impressed, and he’s a teenager, so that’s hard to do.

I will never buy a cake from the grocery store ever again.
