We ordered a steak, egg, potato, fresh jalapeño and cheese breakfast burrito. It was very good. I recommend the breakfast burro.
The staff was friendly

Surf and turf fries are amazing

Friendly and fairly quiet place to get tacos. The food was good enough and the prices weren't bad, either. It's not the best mexican food around, but it's not a bad option if you're in the area and hungry.

The protein bowls are delicious. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant is well kept.

This place is top tier food is really good. But to open up shop at 9am and I door dashed so I don’t get my food till 9:40 is not worth ordering from here. Hopefully my food is freshly cooked not just sitting there.

Food is always pretty good. Sometimes, feel things get a bit overcooked. But I understand that so you don't get sick. Service is always 100%. The dining area gets blasted with the morning sun, and there is pretty much no where to sit that is welcoming when you get breakfast. Need sun shades ASAP.

I am in search of a GOOD burrito!
I'm originally from Chicago, and relocated permanently in May of 2024.
I have tried 5 restaurants so far, 4 in Mesa, and this is the 1st in Surprise.
My wife is a fan of fish tacos, she LOVED theirs!
I am a fan of Carne asada... chimyms, burritos, and tacos in that order.
I sampled the steak tacos, ordered a steak chummy, and the pastor fries.
*Their plates are AMAZING definitely give enough sides, and trimmings, unfortunately the steak isn't tender, it isn't well seasoned, and it isn't juicy.
Though the meat was NOT tough, it lacked the flavor, and texture that would have made the meal 5 star.
The Pastor was average as well, the seasoning was mediocre, but again the final plate for the pastor fries was VERY WELL PRESENTED!
The young staff was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and polite!
*Their Taco Tuesday special could use a revamp

BOTTOM LINE....
I Will shop here again, but probably for the fish tacos only.
On my 1st experience I ordered the steak taco special, pastor fries, steak chummy, and a fish taco
I spent $40ish.
I do feel the food was worth the price.
I am not in love with the actual preparation of the meats..
I AM in love with the final plates they give for the order. You just have to bring some seasoning!

Ordered Birria Tacos. Meat was really good and they are generous. Obligatory Cilantro and Onions, nice crispy cheese on the sides. Small serving of consome but it was good. Will be back.

100% enjoy coming here, i work in the same plaza so it’s always just convenient to get my breakfast here. Food is always made quick and i definitely enjoy being able to call ahead for pickup if i need to!!
