I had the pleasure of dining at Over Easy in Surprise, AZ, after hearing so many recommendations from friends. We had passed by the restaurant several times and noticed how busy it always was, but on a Monday, we decided to give it a try and were fortunate enough to get a table right away.
The restaurant is quite small, but it has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in, which set a positive tone for our visit.
One of the highlights of our meal was the freshly squeezed orange juice. They have a machine that turns whole oranges into juice right before your eyes, and it is absolutely delightful! If you visit, I highly recommend trying it.
While the food was tasty, I did find it a little on the pricey side. However, everything we ordered came out well-prepared and flavorful.
Overall, Over Easy is a charming spot with a unique twist on breakfast. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy meal with a refreshing glass of orange juice!

I am visiting from out of town and Monday I met up with friends at this busy little breakfast spot. From our host to the service , it was excellent!!!! Jennifer gave us recommendations on what our group was looking for and you can tell she loves her job. She honestly made us feel like we were important. I loved the food, atmosphere, and vibes I will definitely eat here again the next time I visit. My only suggestion is that the music was a little loud for breakfast. Otherwise perfect.

My first visit. As I was leaving, I noticed the signed Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives poster with Guy Fieri. Apparently he visited the original Scottsdale location in 2009. Aaron May was the chef on the show. I went and found the episode when I got home.
About my meal: it was mediocre. I ordered the Monte Cristo. The French Toast was not bathed in batter. It has a slight coating and was just plain bread in the middle. I told the waitress. It was a disappointing meal. After watching the Triple D episode, I am even more disappointed.
Hash Browns were great (finely shredded potato). I had not planned on going back. I may give it another try and order one of the meals on Triple D.
Over Easy has lots of locations in the Phoenix area. They seem to suffer from the commercialization where too many locations and too many chefs leads to poorer quality control. Too bad. Is Arron May still an owner? Hmmm...
