Our “Quench taps and tapas” experience was top notch! The food was superb, environment was great… it’s like an adult restaurant only so it’s actually a very quiet and can be a romantic place👍. Service is 5 stars… Chef is the owner, husband helps in serving and our server was a very sweet lady. So, it’s a family owned and they are happy for customers supporting small business. We ordered Stuffed mushroom, flat bread, spicy shrimp with calamari and for the wine, we had the malbec. All tasty food! We will definitely recommend to our friends @ Sun City Festival Community. Hidden gem indeed!!!
Excellent food the owner's work hands on Husband Bartends and wife is the Chef. Rotating menu is really cool you can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the love put in each dish! Definitely make it a point to get the mussel's they are 🔥! Have Mr Wonderful smoke you an Old Fashion or have an Aperol Spritzer and relax at the bar.
They close fairly early. If you drink, they have plenty of options. If you don't, they don't serve soda, so your only option is water out of the tinyest of glasses.
Third time here for us. Quench is such a great local place owned by locals! Everyone is friendly, the food is top notch and the service is outstanding. Atmosphere is perfect for a date night for the first one or an old married couple like us. There really is nothing else like Quench in the west valley
The new curtains make it super dark, not sure what they were going for there.
Listening to Maile Mae is always a great night!
Absolutely phenomenal food, drinks, and service! Got the lavender marg, the honey bee, another fruity drink that was great but we can’t remember the name of it (lol), steak and frites, sweet and spicy shrimp and calamari, and some tomatoes and burrata and everything was so good! Can’t believe we got so lucky to be basically the only table in there on a Tuesday night. So happy to have found an amazing local family owned spot!! Don’t pass up this place!
Absolutely fantastic tapas and the presentation is over the top the chef has done her self proud the staff is delightful
Would go again special occasions or just a nice week night out
Good food, good wine, good seats, great service.
Menu is quite eclectic for the area. I like the scratch kitchen concept. The drink menu was very unique and had a good mix of wine, beer and mixed drinks. The service was a little lackluster as it seemed like they were done with their day and did not want to conversate too much but the food and beverage outweighed that by far. I will be back.
Stopped by for a beer and a snack. Great little spot. Great variety of beers wines and cocktails. I tried the meatballs and they were amazing! Can't wait to go back again to try more! highly recommend
Restaurantji Recommends
Restaurant closes at 9:00 on weekends so Kitchen closes at 8:30 this means they won’t do their signature boards past 7:30PM. In my opinion this is ridiculous. Poor service and the antithesis of hospitality. I highly recommend the management purchase and read unreasonable hospitality to learn how restaurant service should be done and what to strive for.
We came with a group of 12 with a reservation for a meeting. Our server was fantastic. We had actually arrived about 1.5 hr early to eat at the bar just the two of us. Bartender great, food was ehh. Paid our tab and moved to the patio when our meeting started. Server on the patio also fantastic. Apparently at the end of our meeting, the owners told us we were not welcome back. Not sure why as it was a very calm group of local, small business owners just talking quietly on the patio. No other parties on the patio and a slow Thursday night. Our thought is not enough people in our group ordered food and maybe they were upset our bill wasn’t higher? Anyway bad taste for us and our group. We are all local small business owners with lots of contacts and will never recommend this place to others , and will most definitely take our business elsewhere. One of the owners who I believe was also a chef came out and told us “ we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8” um we made a reservation for about 10-12 and were told it was fine. Not sure what the huge difference is for them of 8 vs. 12 other than not everyone in our group ordered food. Anyway never met a business owner who did not want or appreciate business. If you have a party of 8 or more, spend your money elsewhere!
I came to enjoy a business meeting and was surprised by the OWNER of this establishment to be very rude and irritated with my party.
I had called to make a reservation for a party of 8-12 people . I had asked if we could move tables together , (the owner over the phone had no problem with the reservation) when we were arrived everything was amazing , we had an amazing waitress , the service was great and we planned to return for future meetings. As the end arose, we approached the owner to say a thank you for hosting our business meeting with multiple business owners involved. He continued to say to me in an aggravated tone that they don’t accommodate these types of groups and that there establishment wasn’t capable of hosting individuals at such capacity. (12 people only with beverages and a few appetizers) as I stressed to him we weren’t very needy or eating, as we were just gathering bring business for this establishment. His wife (the cook) then piped in with how this can not happen again and we aren’t welcome . It was very rude and embarrassing for me and my group. Needless to say we will never return and we will never recommend this place .
The owner of an establishment speaks volumes and he’s very rude and not willing to accommodate groups or parties no matter the circumstances.
