We live in Sun City Festival, and have been going to Rio Mirage Cafe in Surprise for nearly six years. It’s our go-to restaurant for Mexican food, and I think we’ve tried every Mexican restaurant within a radius of 20 miles of Surprise. The food is always the best, and the service is consistently great. Their menu is creative and extensive. Not cheap, but reasonable prices with generous portions. We were seated right away, and the staff were friendly. Service was efficient. Enjoyed the chips and salsa. The salsa was mildly spicy. We had the special burrito, one chicken, and one steak. Both are super rich and flavorful, but the steak was a little tough.
Overall, I enjoyed our visit.
