Wish I could give this place zero stars. It was completely empty at 9:45am and they couldn’t even greet my husband and I when we walked in. When we said “hey, how’s it going” the employee responded with “good.” Not what can I get you? Nothing. Can’t say how the coffee is because we just left after that. So strange.

When I moved to surprise 3 years ago …. I tried this place and loved the assortment of coffee possibilities with all their offered flavor options ! It was so good and I was so impressed ! They had a huge blueberry muffin that was served warm…. With a streusel crumble on top that was loaded with large blueberries!! Then Covid ruled the world ….. so when I went back I ordered another blueberry muffin … it was teeny, wrapped in plastic, cold with literally zero blueberries and no yummy top! It was So disappointing! They said they are still home made, but I highly doubt it ! Maybe they should lie and say they are store bought cause it’s a bad representation of what I call a blueberry muffin! My husband ordered a pumpkin cinnamon roll that was served to him hot in a Walmart bag! It’s sad cause we try and support local small businesses! Something is definitely off … maybe that’s why it’s now being called “ground shakers “ and there are new owners and/or management! Hope it works out for them !

First day of moving to the PHX area I was hankering for some coffee while I unpacked. Sunsational was only a 5 minute drive, so I went through the drive thru hoping for the best.I can’t espresso how delighted I was to find genuinely good coffee. They have so many intricate flavors, great deals and discounts listed and the staff is incredibly helpful.If you’re looking for brew-ti-ful coffee, this place is solid! The food looks exceptional, and per my dad and husband, it is! Unfortunately, I have to eat gluten free so I’m hoping in the future they’ll have more GF options so I can join in!

Revisited this spot after many years and it’s just as good as it ever was! The owner is amazingly nice and really is a master at his craft. The house roast was very carefully crafted and tastes GREAT. The baristas are all very friendly and knowledgeable as well. It’s a place you can ask questions at and they really know their stuff, from roasting, grinds, temperature to any other conditions that help make the best brew possible.
My first time visiting Sunsational was this morning and I will definitely be going back! I tried the iced butter rum latte as it was one of the specials as well as the breakfast wrap. I did receive hot sauce packets with the wrap that was much appreciated. Both products were amazing and fresh. I received prompt and friendly service. I was able to get to the drive thru window with ease and no one was in line ahead of me which worked nicely because I was running behind schedule this morning. The coffee is very high quality and shipped from Portland. My coffee did not have a burnt or stale taste like other shops. It was delicious.

Very cute & quaint coffee shop. Beach theme which is fun! Coffee is good & so is their biscuits & gravy! I love that AZ has so many locally owned coffee shops. This place had a great selection of iced teas which is also something I like, interesting flavors too! The lemon crème one has been my favorite so far. This will be my go-to when I’m in the area!

Clearly the people raving about this place have either never actually been there or are friends of someone working there. I went here the first time and the coffee wasn't great and the girls at the window weren't very friendly. As I really believe that every place can have an off day, I decided to return for a second try. Unfortunately things had not improved. The coffee was not even sub-par and the service even worse. The young girls working there were rude and seemed to go out of their way to make this customer feel like my money would definitely be better spent elsewhere. Although this place is right by my home, I will absolutely drive across town to get coffee elsewhere.

I LOVE this place! How have I been local for 4 years and not known about this? A friend who works at a local business told me about this because I love white coffee and I have to say that they didn’t disappoint. The only place I’ve ever found white coffee was Dutch Bros…and as much as I love that coffee, I have to say this one is even better.Also, the owner Lloyd and Abby, who helped me were just awesome. Lloyd educated me on how to make white coffee at home which is different than regular types of coffee. The atmosphere has a small town Hallmark feel which I LOVE and for which I am always on the hunt.All in all, I say this place is an absolute hidden gem - and only wish I knew about it sooner! I wish they were open all day long and their hours will be the only reason I don’t stop by more but I will get here as often as possible.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
