Surprise Pho Vietnamese Restaurant

Wow, it’s hard to believe I’ve been coming here since 2016. I’ve never had a combination pho that I’ve disliked.

Health department needs to give this place a visit ASAP. Today I got black slimy basil with worms!!! I STOPPED COMING HERE BECAUSE THEY WERE ALWAYS OUT OF BASIL (makez 0 sense as basil is at the store across the street) shame on me for giving it another try. Disgusting the produce they try serving was disgusting wilted, black and bugs on them still. Yet they said again thisbis the last basil no more produce (as I am watching the lady bag the basil as hes telling me there is no fresher ones. So I get my wallet to file a chargeback with my bank...... lone behold he found more basil. Still was so bad I wouldnt even feed this to my worst enemy.
Save urself and go to VNAM PHO down the road.

Very expensive for what was ordered. 35$ for Dumpling Pho and cashew chicken. Was asked if I wanted it spicy or mild. I asked for spicy/hot and it had neither. Absolutely no flavor or hot peppers. Lid wasn't secure on the pho broth or in it's own bag. Went all over the car.

The absolute worst! Unauthentic down to the peanut sauce! If i listed everything wrong with our dinner this review would be very lengthy. We will not be back. Save your money, these reviews are lies!! ‼️⚠️

I usually order at another restaurant, but they were closed and due to the reviews I decided to give this one a chance. Now I did order on DoorDash. My poor Dasher had to wait over 20 minutes before they left and had another Dasher had to take over. Once I receive the food my noodles were in a Chinese takeout box with a bag of the raw steak on top so basically the noodles were one giant mass. The broth container , was 2 not even filled to the top. When I tried to separate the noodle mass with some hot broth they ended up in clumps. If that wasn’t bad enough, the broth had no flavor. The whole thing ended up not being edible, unless you like noodle clumps .

We have been going here for many years. The pho broth used to be very good. The last two times it has been so bland I would barely call it broth. We hoped the last time was just a fluke. Won't be eating pho here again. The service is great, might try another dish.

No herbs. Only veggies were ice berg lettuce. The oil used to stir fry the chicken tasted old. I usually love Vietnamese and I never write reviews but I actually couldn't even eat this.

I decided to get Vegetable Pho from this place because V.Pho was closed on Monday. It was a complete waste of my time and money. The broth has no flavor. I asked for extra veggies so the decided to press my noodles down to fit them all n one container making my noodles a solid block of mash together noodles. I took 1 bite and ended up throwing it n the trash because it was just NOT GOOD!

If you are on a diet good place to go because portion sizes are for kids. Wife got pho but noodles were short for some reason and even though I ordered a large the take out container was just over half full? I ordered chicken stir fry and when I got home it had maybe a 2-3 ounces of chicken. I’ve seen people complain about the same thing. Our normal pho place was closed for lunar new year so gave it a try.

This is the 4rth time here and thought maybe they just forgot to put enough protein in the pho but no, I’m disappointed with the portion of tendons meat in the pho itself nothing but noodles. Not worth it. The chicken fried rice I give a thumbs up it was good.

Got food to go. Just wanted simple teriyaki chicken with white rice. My box was covered in this juice and my chicken was smothered floating in some juice with a bunch of soggy vegetables. The portion of rice was extremely small and and the middle of the rice scoop was a bunch of that sauce so now all the rice is just a soggy mess.
