Very disappointed in their Easter brunch. We were there by 11 o'clock and they were already out of quiche. Ham was served with cabbage and potatoes, which there were like not even a handful potatoes on the plate. Ham a little chewy. Overall, disappointed.

The Toast Craft Kirchen, located in Surprise, Arizona is a small lunch and dinner venue. Their food items are largely Mediterranean and taste very homemade. That is to say, they are very delicious. My wife and I shared a Cubano sandwich, and it was the best I’ve ever had. Service started out a bit slow but picked up to a very good level. Prices are moderate, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. We will return often.

We thought this place was pretty mediocre. My wife had the Eggs Benedict. She said the hollandaise sauce was rather bland. I had a scramble with scrambled eggs, kielbasa and diced potatoes served in a small cast iron skillet sitting on a porcelain plate. Everytime I tried to take a bite, the skillet slid around on the plate. I finally dumped the food out of the skillet on to the plate to eat it. The potatoes didn't have much seasoning on them. They were a bit tasteless. The eggs and the kielbasa were good. Service was almost non-existent. We were seated fairly quickly and got water right away. But then it was 15-20 minutes before anyone came back to take our order. Our server came back to check on us once, then we didn't see her again until we finished eating. We had to ask someone else for salt and pepper. The person with us ordered a cinnamon roll WITH BUTTER. When our server brought the roll out she mumbled something about coming back with the butter. He ate almost half of the roll without butter and finally had to ask a different server for the butter, which she brought directly back to the table. Now, let's talk about price. It cost over $60 for two people to have breakfast. That's ridiculous. We talked it over and decided we wouldn't go back here.

We went on a Tuesday about 130pm. Heard about a sandwich made with prime rib called The Prime. We tried to order, but they were out. Evidently, the prime rib was in the oven. Then, for dessert, we wanted the bread pudding, they were out. It was a miss altogether. It was kinda quiet which didn't make sense they were out of two of their popular dishes.

Okay, so this is an update. Sort of, since the 5-star rating will not change.We had the gamut: drinks, appetizers, entrees, and wine. All were fantastic. She had the Mediterranean Chicken, the other she had the salmon, and I had the prime rib. We started with two orders of the escargot, which came on very hot plates (that they were very careful to warn us about!). Mmmmm....!Our drinks: the two "shes" (my wife and her cousin) had margaritas and I had a martini. Each were made to perfection. We ordered wine with dinner, a pinot noir that was delicious.Our service was an all-around pleasure, led by Lauren. She was obviously slammed early on, but when things lightened up a bit, she spent some time chatting with us at our table. It was delightful, as was she. How nice it made the overall experience!A note to our bartender, Lucas. He was terrific, carefully crafting our drinks and checking to see how we enjoyed them. He served our wine and, later, a bit of lemoncello. It was custom-made and utterly fantastic. It--and he--impressed us so much we nicknamed him "Lemonfellow." Awesome dude. We'll return just to hang out at his bar.The Toast is a delightful "local joint" with fine food and fantastic service. Please eat here and support this valuable contribution to the culture of Surprise. It is that good.

We’ve been here 3 times and have never had a bad meal. The prime rib sandwich is so good! I also love the sangria. Our waitresses have always been really attentive and offer great recommendations. Highly recommend!

One of the highest-quality meals we've had since moving to AZ. The West Valley has a shortage of independent gourmet-oriented restaurants and the Toast is a real gem in that department! Pricing is fair, the food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Well done! BTW, the space is small so can get noisy when busy. If noise is an issue, request a table on their outdoor patio. It faces the parking lot of a strip mall but the ambient noise is definitely more manageable out there.
