Tokyo Joe's - Surprise

Healthy carry out, or dine in with a table of 4 or less- Tokyo Joes is my favorite place and has been a standby for over 15 years when I would go to eat quite often in Colorado.
I went today, and go at least once a week, sometimes more often if I am really craving it.
The build your own bowl is perfection, and this year I have really enjoyed the new menu items added also! I get the Poke Bowl often too. Its great for someone that has preferences because it is all customizable!

The staff is great; kind, friendly, and always gets my order right. I suggest eating in the restaurant, as the food is delicious and fresh and perfectly cooked and veggies are just the right amount of crunchy. The take home containers are great for re-using for meal portioning or tupperware, and I see a lot of health conscious people like EMT and Police dining there - Clean ingredients and Protein choices make it easy and you feel good the rest of the day with the right fuel!

Came through town for a training class and stopped to eat here twice as I enjoyed it and felt like some more Japanese food. Pretty good overall and lots of authentic dishes and options.

Maybe I missed it on the menu somewhere but only nitpick I had was I didn't see Chashu pork as an option for the noodle/ramen bowls. Just something I always find or get on my ramen in real Tokyo 😁.

Overall though would definitely recommend.

Had the chicken teriyaki. The value was not what it could of been for the price. Overall the taste was ok. The teriyaki sauce was salty.

Food was delicious, service was fantastic, place was clean and very cool decorations. Only problem and reason for the 4 stars is that my girlfriend's and my food didn't come with any sauce on it, thankfully she asked me to go back inside and get extra sauce on the side before we drove home. Also my custom bowl didnt have all the ingredients I selected and paid for in it. Other than that it was great and we would both definitely eat there again!

Michelle went above and beyond in providing excellent food service. Even though it looked like my poke bowl might not be possible due to missing ingredients, she made the extra effort to find what was needed and made it happen. I really appreciated her dedication and helpfulness

Michelle was awesome. She's always on top of everything. She's great with customer service and she'll always go above and beyond the normal call of duty to make sure everyone's happy and satisfied with both food and service.

Love this place. So many options to make it your own and always made fresh. Staff has always been great! They currently are offering curry noodles and they are so good! Highly recommend giving it a try!

If I can give 100 stars to the staffs for excellent service, I would. We were waiting outside for them to open when their chef was kind enough to let us know they were. The staffs were the friendliest and kindest people I have ever dealt with in the food industry. They even remember their regulars and they warmly greeted everyone. They also regularly checked if we needed anything and asked how our food was. Our food was good. I wish they had some ramen (soup) options and not just bowls. They have a lot of healthy options to choose from. The place was clean and organized. The decors looked cool. Will definitely come back.
