Had heard of Trapper’s when living in Seattle and all the benevolent work the owner has done for cancer research, but never could get there. Found they opened near our golf course and went there after a round. Sushi was excellent and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

We normally enjoy our time at this restaurant, I recommended it to my parents, and when they came, they did not have a great experience. The server was very monotone and did not smile. She took over 20 minutes to bring their drinks mind you their appetizers had already been served. She didn’t explain any of the specials. She brought them one soup when they asked for two.

We went to a build your own sushi roll and sake tasting experience, apparently their first, and it was such a fun experience. We got to pick out our own ingredients for our rolls and they brought them over and thoroughly explained how to make the rolls ourselves. On top of that, for the sake tastings they had some authentic Japanese hosts to explain the sake differences, pairings, and production.
