Oh my gosh ! Got the BPT (breaded pork tenderloin) and was so happy - it was one of the best I've ever had. It brought back memories of getting them in the Midwest as a kid - difference being I could eat the whole thing back then! Wife got the Philly and loved it. Drive from Yuma was worth it - we will be back.
Spent the night down the street and noticed this diner when the sun came up. I ordered the biscuits and gravy special. It came with 2 biscuits, scrambled eggs and sausage, and the entire plate was covered in sausage gravy. Wow! It was excellent. Everything was fresh. Coffee was good too. Sat around long for lunch time so I tried the homemade clam chowder. Very good! Washed it all down with banana cream cheese pie. It was excellent. Staff were polite and professional....
Our food was fantastic! Hubby had biscuits and gravy (there are 2 eggs and sausage patties under than tasty gravy), and I had a ham and cheese omelet. I told the lovely waitress to skip the toast. I can't eat bread. She offered sliced tomatoes instead. Very nice! They were good. The service was really quick. We are definitely going back. If I had to pick one negative, it would be that they don't have decaf coffee. No biggie though.
