Lovely experience for early Valentine's Day dinner. We had the special, definitely loved the peanut butter cream pie 😋

I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs on the side. The bacon was really crispy. The biscuit and gravy were better than McDonald’s but I have had better that’s why the 4 star review.

Trappers Cafe’s chicken fried steak has completely ruined me in the best way possible. It’s so perfectly crispy, tender, and packed with flavor that every other chicken fried steak I’ve tried since just falls short. No matter where I go, I’m always comparing it to Trappers, and nothing even comes close. Their version set the bar way too high—and now I’m spoiled for life.

My wife and I both had the chicken fried steak. Steak was very tough and flavorless. Same for gravy, flavorless. A little pepper, sage, garlic, onion season, and salt would have helped. Hash browns were more like hash mash. No crispness at all. We won't go back

Lost Customers

Have been going weekly to Trappers for 8 years. We have watched the prices go up and the quality of the food hit rock bottom. Yesterday was the final straw. I always order the open-face hot beef sandwich while my husband varies his choices week by week. My sandwich was not edible as the meat was so tough it was not chewable. Husband who will eat any and everything said it was terrible. Told waitress (Kristen I believe) I would not pay for something I could not eat. She took it away, asking why we kept coming there if the food was so bad. I told her we supported local businesses but will no long support Trappers. I understand the need for increased prices, but not the decline in food quality and skimpy portions. This is the second time we have dropped Trappers because of a really bad meal. Giving them a second chance was a huge mistake on our part. Really a shame. Save yourself the misfortune of a lousy meal.

The food was decent , prime rib was the most expensive, really tastes of lighter fluid. The burger was OK. The fries are great. Never going again. Prime rib, burger, chicken strip and a child corndog meal. 68 dollars. Never going back.

I had an omelet, hashbrowns, toast and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious, and priced very reasonably. Service was excellent.
