When I first arrived to Tollsen I had no idea about where or what I was gonna do to help myself in a homeless situation without going back to Phoenix or to a shelter, been there done that, I don't want to do it anymore.... Even though I had no money to do anything with to begin with, I sat down in front of BadAss Coffee and plugged my phone in to charge. From that moment on, I was able to get not only what I needed but some creature comfort wants... The Ladies there during my little stay sleeping behind a bush more or less. The Local community along with BadAss Coffee, despite the fact that I am homeless for a bit, they all have touched my heart in a way I haven't thought possible but they all in a special place within the deepest part of my heart, for life, bc they are more than meets the eyes. Come join me during the holidays this season and gather in and around these rural areas that are definitely back home country fried, Red Necks, HillBilly, CowBoy's&CowGirl's, and, Hay y'all it doesn't really matter what the color of your skin looks like, or native or foreign... Down here at BadAss Coffee you will definitely feel like you are at home all the time and not just on special occasions. Blessed Be Let It Be So...

Great spot for a stop with fun delicious choices, and a very friendly and nice staff.
They also have some breakfast options and pasties, free wifi, lots of indoor spots and some outdoor.

9/1/25: colorful place & friendly staff. Popped in this Labor Day after some car shopping in Avondale. There were a few cars in the drive through but not too many, and there was no one currently dining inside so we had the place to ourselves (for awhile at least). The gals were very friendly & offered up advice when asked. Unfortunately, it's been so long I forgot the drinks we ordered but have not forgotten that we both enjoyed them. :-) The small sweets (scone & donuts) were also tasty and hot, thanks to being popped in the microwave.

I would definitely go to Bad Ass again.
