Never ate there before, but I saw they made fried okra and decided to go. Their okra is really yummy and they give a huge amount for the side. The brisket was really good, and the chicken was juicy and tender. I'm glad I went here. It made me happy to eat food that I miss from the south. And their sweet tea is really sweet tea.

Food is always amazing but at my last trip in the manager on shift interrupted the employee taking my order to make the employee call him a bad kitty after "pawing" the register tape to the floor. Said employee looked terribly embarrassed.

I received the wrong DoorDash order. (Couldn't eat it anyway b/c I'm gluten intolerant) please double check the food and receipt.... It's really annoying to have to tip a DoorDash driver twice. (This isn't DoorDashes fault since the food is sealed with receipt on the outside, there's no way they couldn't have known it wasn't my order). I also tried to call to make them aware & they don't answer their phone.

Always a great bar-b-q experience at Dickey's Tolleson. Great Bar-B-Q especially the Brisket and Chicken. And always friendly service.Sure miss the Ice Cream and the Jalapeno Beans side though.

My husband and I were in the mood for ribs. Went to the location on McDowell to find it's permanently closed. Looked for another location and found Tolleson was the next closest.First we were not acknowledged right off when waiting to place our orders. I think they were busy with Grubhub and pick up orders. My husband ordered a three meat combo. His ribs were burnt, very hard and dry. We didn't complain because it was obvious that the workers were sub par with their customer service as it was, but we would definitely make a couple reviews.

Justin was sooo friendly with such a welcoming and amazing attitude, he recommended the perfect family dinner for our first visit. I will definitely be back with this type of service and quality of food.
I've had issues with Dickey's in Northern California but I figured I'd try their restaurant in Phoenix to see if I would get better results. In short : "No"I ordered their 3 Meat combo and it was disappointing to say the least. It was 3 small pieces of meat; much less meat than you'd get on a footlong sub from Subway...perhaps enough for a 6" sub. But there was a large hole in my bag which I believed was the reason I didn't receive half of my order. But having dealt with Dickey's customer service in the past, I'm all but positive they will not take accountability. It was so bad, it ultimately led to me canceling my Grubhub membership. I gave them 1 star because it wouldn't let me give them "0 Stars."If you're in the mood for barbecue and Dickey's is your only choice, go Chinese. Dickey's is just bad from the top down.

Place is a rip-off. Website will say family pack starts at $61. As soon as you select it, it jumps to $78 before you make a single selection. So is that $17 a fee for choosing to eat at your establishment? Or just a bait and switch. Also what's with your taxes and fees, $13 not including tip. What other fees are there if not tip.

If i could give this zero stars I would. This location is terrible. I went to order food at their counter, and two employees thought it was more important to talk about what they did over the weekend. So I waited and finally someone came to the counter to get my order. I got my order and we got our food. I've tasted better shoe leather then what I was eating. The table looks like it was cleaned about a year ago. Sticky mess. I'll never go back to this disgusting slop hole again. Terrible place

Was pretty disappointed with this joint. Came in for lunch and ordered the giant baked potato with pulled pork- the potatoes were cooked nicely- soft and fluffy all the way through but was missing the bacon and no sour cream, just overall mediocre as far as loaded baked potatoes go- the pulled pork seemed stale, not tender or soft but sort of stiff at the ends like it was old. Just not very tasty like I had imagined when I ordered. To add to the experience my table was sticky with something that had spilt and not been cleaned and there were sticky cup rings from previous customers that sat there the day before. Dry sticky cup rings where my arms rested on the wooden table. Lots of flies buzzing around and other little bugs crawling around the table. Would not recommend based on my experience.
