Posting under our "foodie" handle, TravelingbyCarr G and R...Oct 5, '24. Out of all of the eatin' choices, Kate's seemed to have the best menu. Busy, we sat at the bar, where one tv shows a continuous loop of the movie Tombstone. Our bartender/server was Dan. Fast, efficient, great personality, he could sling drinks along with entertaining the crowd with his juggling skills. On the other hand, he didn't know when Arizona became a state. We gave Dan a pass, since he was from Boston. On his advice, I went with the over-stuffed reuben and R took the cheesesteak with jalapenos. The reuben was very good and the cheesesteak a generous helping of juicy, spicy wonderful. Considering atmosphere, service, food quality & price--including Veteran recognition, G and R gives Kate's 4 stars, with just a bit more.

Quaint authentic western saloon. Our waitress was perky and efficient. The reuben sandwich was very tasty with ample amount of meat. Entertainment provided by a talented guitar strumming, country singing Ole cowboy.

The food's pretty damn good and the service is nothing to scoff at either the atmosphere is well that of an old west Saloon it's kind of nice

Had an absolute amazing experience at Big Nose Kate's... We are a large family of 8 visiting family in Az and being from Dallas Texas....we wanted to experience as much as AZ could offer with a disabled parent... And Vietnam Veteran to boot.. so Tombstone was the best choice.. and having dinner at a historic spot like Kate's was an excellent choice... Did we have to wait?? Hell yes we did but we also didn't go there expecting to get seated right away... I was concerned a asking myself would the food be worth the wait and hell yes it was.. I wish I had got our servers name cause she was on point.. handling business with speed and professionalism... All I could say about her from memory is she has an amazing set of ta-tas.. but they all did. Thank you all for the awesome memories left for us of our experience.. even the very beautiful hostess was great at her job!!

My sister and I are on a road trip that took us through Tombstone. Stopped here and due to limited seating sat at the bar. Nathan was the best bartender and lended to the experience.
