Great food and atmosphere. Excellent customer service
While the crowd skewed older, I had a damn good cheesesteak and a surprisingly solid conversation with the bartender about grunge music.
Loved this restaurant! So fun. Had everything from saloon ladies to cowboys and entertainment. The guitarist sang my favorite western songs. Every one was friendly, service excellent. It was delightful to meet Ricardo. A true cowboy gentleman. Food was delicious. You have got try the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and whip cream.
A step back in time. Great live entertainment and staff that looked to be right out of the old west. Very friendly waitresses and bartender. Lots of pictures and things to see. A gift shop also.
Go for the name, go for the atmosphere and live music, don't go for the bar food!
It all started with our host. He was kind and spunky! He found us a table in 15 mins. Food is always tasty! The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun! The owner came around chit chatting! He thanked us for coming in! The pianist always keeps the crowd swaying and singing along! Love this place we’ll be back soon!
Such a fun saloon! A lively atmosphere with live music, good food, saloon girl servers. Plenty of photo ops. Dint muss the downstairs gift shop.
Lively active place to eat. Good music, food, and service
Food is very average but super cool decor with live music and free (for tip) photo shoot opp. Great place to escape the heat and with tons to look at on the wall. Fun!
Loved it!!

Posting under our "foodie" handle, TravelingbyCarr G and R...Oct 5, '24. Out of all of the eatin' choices, Kate's seemed to have the best menu. Busy, we sat at the bar, where one tv shows a continuous loop of the movie Tombstone. Our bartender/server was Dan. Fast, efficient, great personality, he could sling drinks along with entertaining the crowd with his juggling skills. On the other hand, he didn't know when Arizona became a state. We gave Dan a pass, since he was from Boston. On his advice, I went with the over-stuffed reuben and R took the cheesesteak with jalapenos. The reuben was very good and the cheesesteak a generous helping of juicy, spicy wonderful. Considering atmosphere, service, food quality & price--including Veteran recognition, G and R gives Kate's 4 stars, with just a bit more.
Great food and service. We got some great information from an employee about the history of the place.
