We had a big group and it was great food and they have group discount with other places. You can buy tickets and they give a discount. We got a Family deal and it was a great price with the right amount of meat to have some to take home! Loved the BBQ sauces and the variety!

Kid-friendliness: They did great with a platter to help with picky eaters.

Simple no frills BBQ joint. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. The Puny Pie is very flavorful and is plenty of food for normal people. If you’re like me you may want to top that off with a delicious brisket sandwich and some potato salad. The brisket had its own flavor and needed no sauce. The potato salad was very good and a refreshing way to end the meal. My wife had a blt, simple fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly and prices are very reasonable. The inside is also very simple and old school and not all hipstered up like a lot of people try to do. We will be back here before our trip is over.

I came to AZ to celebrate my sons birthday for the weekend. He'd never been to Tombstone so we did a day trip from Tucson to enjoy the history. When asking folks which of the places would be best, we were directed almost exclusively to Puny John's. My first thought was: "they're doing paid referrals"...... Well, perhaps, but they weren't lying. There were 4 of us for lunch. We got the ribs, brisket sandwich and boneless Rib sandwich. This was absolutely the best BBQ I've had in more than 10 years. The ribs were smoked to perfection. My son said the brisket was perfect (he refused to share with anyone else it was so good).Serving to compliment the perfectly tender meats were some pretty amazing bbq sauces. All were delicious and the spicy ones weren't solid heat. Don't get me wrong, they were hot!!! They were also layered with smoke flavor which served to enhance the heat, not overpower it.Amazing meal!!! 10/10

The staff were efficient and friendly. They guided us through the menu and made great recommendations. The restaurant is a nice place with lots of seating. Additionally there are a lot of hot sauce options. Unfortunately, the food was not so great. The meat was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. The sausage was surprisingly also dry and lacking flavor and the bun was terrible. Just dry and crumbly and falling apart. I don't recommend the sausage or the chili but i did enjoy the tater tots and I think they do sandwiches pretty well. You can add all the sauce you need. The coleslaw was very mayo-y and with lots of ranch dressing, not my style. However we thank you for a great afternoon in Tombstone!

Puny John's BBQ is the BEST place to eat in Tombstone, hands down! They even have vegan options. The staff are kind, talented, and professional. I love this family owned shop and am enormously grateful for their dedication to excellence. I work at the Cabal Wine Cellar nearby and they are my go-to when I need a GREAT lunch or when I surprise my family with a full rack of their decadent St. Louis style BBQ ribs, spicy Mac n cheese and their heavenly homemade BBQ sauces ~ YUMMMMMMM❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of parking in the free OK Corral parking lot just steps away.

My daughter and I had a bbq sandwich and a side order of green beans each. She also had tea and I water. The $45 tab seemed expensive to us. Food was pretty good though portions not overly generous. Maybe that's about par for a tourist town.
