This place has always been a hit for us. The drive up there is almost worth it alone. Fast, friendly service and great food. Today was breakfast with a Mile High Omelette and Chorizo Omelette. Cooked perfectly and the potatoes with it are also great.

Was very disappointed in the hamburger I got. For 17.99 I was expecting a nice thick hamburger but instead it looked like a frozen premade & only 1/8 inch thick. My friend’s food was good & decent portions.

Its a nice restaurant just few miles from canyin lake. The view is great and also the good. You find a nice old West Town.

I came to Tortilla Flat about 10 years ago and had a great time back then, so I made the trip again expecting something similar. Big mistake. This time was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
Our server acted like we weren’t wanted there, rushed us from the start, dropped the check the second the food hit the table, and then hovered over me at payment to make sure she got tipped. Not once did she come by after taking our order.
The food? Mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the hype or the hour drive. And $10 for two kids’ apple juices is laughable. What was once a fun, memorable spot has clearly turned into an overpriced tourist trap. Won’t be coming back again.
