We wanted to give the one locally owned restaurant in Tuba City a chance, rather than patronize one of the chains. Wish we hadn’t. Waste of time and money.

The (BOILED?!?) burger came out with one single tomato slice and a sliver of lettuce. I actually laughed out loud. The fries are cardboard-y. The server was friendly enough but never gave us silverware, napkins, or checked on us after dropping the food. We also waited like 10 minutes to be greeted and 10 minutes for her to take our payment in a practically completely empty restaurant.

The experience just kind of sucked and ended up being $30 of pretty low quality food.

Expensive, but I was told everything was expensive now. But $51 for 2 people is a bit much.
I had a cheeseburger and horrible fries (old and reheated) and my wife had trout which she said was good but not great.
I wouldn't eat here again.

I was passing by and decided to give this place a try. The waitress named Lavina was absolutely atrocious. She blatantly ignored myself and othe costumers in her section. When politely requesting for small things like refills, extra napkins or to reorder a plate she walked away with her nose in the air. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected. I called the establishments manager and she seemed like she didn't care at all, she rushed our phone call and gave a very unconvincing pledge that she would talk to her employee. If this is the kind of people who run this establishment I can see why it has low ratings. If this is the kind of attitude the establishment has it's very unprofessional, disrespectful and ugly. I will not stop by again if I am passing through and highly recommend anyone to just go and enjoy something in Flagstaff where the service is likely better and the environment is less hostile. Just an overall uncomfortable experience that I don't want to have again. Do better Tuba City Hogan Restaurant.

Spectacular. After so much junk food, this restaurant is a discovery. Authentic homemade Navajo food. Very good service.

The server, Thomas, was polite, on top of things and always moving “If you have time to lean, you have time to clean”.

The cranberry nut oatmeal was a healthy choice!

Others stood around when they could have helped him refill coffee.

I have rarely seen such unfriendly staff. Another family had to get up to get their own menu cards. The food was made unlovingly and greasy - much too expensive for that. 6.50.- for a meager fruit bowl, 3.50.- for a small coffee that you would have gotten at any gas station for 1-2 dollars and much bigger. Not recommended.

A totally fine restaurant. Not incredibly exciting, but nothing negative. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was enjoyable, but again, nothing special. If you’re staying in the hotel or at the campground I recommend it, but if you’re just passing through and you’re not starving I wouldn’t make a stop just for the food here. The dessert was probably the highlight of the evening, my family(4) shared a slice of apple pie and a slice of the turtles cheesecake and they were both delicious.

Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was nice, great for families.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is even with the ground outside and easy to access for disabled people.

Clean, friendly and fast service. Our food got good reviews, but some of it was bland. Some massive fried bread. The southwestern meal had the most flavour. Burgers were good, boys recommend the onion rings, they were krispy!

Dinner with hamburgers that were perfectly ok and nice napkin rings that were aware of gluten intolerance. Fast and nice.
The breakfast the next day was disastrous. Rude and slow waitress who seemed to think we were a nuisance for asking about gluten free options. There were three breakfast options and asked to have eggs and fruit salad which were on different options. Had to pay extra, they didn't think it was included!
Also don't seem to know what gluten intolerance is.

Dietary restrictions: No gluten-free options were found.
