Stopped for breakfast on a road trip from Phoenix to San Diego. We had a great breakfast which included light and fluffy pancakes, yummy hash browns, eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee was good too! I don't often take time to review places but had to do one for this place! They deserved it!

My family was here visiting and I brought them to the Hive for dinner. Six people total. Regular meals, and two had a soda, rest had water. Sodas were $4.50 each!!! My bill ended up being $133.52. OUTRAGEOUS!!!
we never saw the waitress agsin after she took our order. Food was brought out by a young man. Never were we asked if we needed a refill of water or made out of gold sodas.
We were also charged a $3 upcharge. Even after all that, I left a generous tip.
I won't go back.
Went to Yuma. Had regular meals and all six had sodas. Bill was $78. Big difference.
Nice to have local restaurant to go to, but you can't over charge and stay in business.

The breakfast and the rolled tacos are the best and the ribeye steak sandwich is wonderful. Your best choice to eat.

I got the chicken fried steak and gravy. It was delicious. Plenty of gravy and very creamy. Onion rings were perfect. Salad was really good cold and crisp. I will be going back .

This place has such potential. We really wanted to love it, but it seems that of the three times we've been there, there is always something off-putting. I've had a burger once and a BLT. They refuse to put mayo on either. The waitress basically said it was too much trouble. You have to add it at the table. The chicken fried steak gravy was thin, only salty - no other flavors. We gave them three chances, so probably won't go back.
This place is so cute and has wonderful food. Customer service was excellent as well. We go back and forth from PHX to Yuma every week and never thought about going off the beaten path. So glad we did. The Ruben is EXCELLENT. the ranch was great (I'm a super ranch snob too). Even the "boring looking" fries were really good. We'll definitely be back.
