Let's be clear. Country pride sucks most of the time. Not on Thanksgiving 2024 in the Wilcox location. Annie and Stephanie were working their butts off, and still providing excellent service even though they were busy as hell being the only two on the floor. The cook seemed new, but was still doing a great job. All the food came out tasty and hot. Getting refills for the AYCE Thanksgiving feast was not a problem, and if you didn't want something on your plate they had no problems just giving you more of the stuff you DO like. I'm a big boy, so I like it all. My wife is a picky bird when it comes to food, so they just gave her big portions of what she likes. I'm uncomfortably full, but that's my own fault. I had 3 plates. Needless to say, thank you Miss Annie and Miss Stephanie for working on Thanksgiving to make sure that we truckers get a good meal. I think I speak for the majority when I say we definitely appreciate you both. Hope you two had a lovely Thanksgiving and made a lot of money! ❤️

Great place to stop for real food on a long stretch of road. Clean environment , nice sweet waitress. Definitely slow service at night but that’s to be expected. There was many people eating there. Definitely recommend. Hubby had the pancake combo and I the American Standard smash burger.

If I could give it a zero I would. The way they treat their employees just disgusts me. Been their many times and the last couple of times I got the new woman cook who absolutely makes the best food I've ever had there. It was nice to have edible food. She takes her time to make sure you delicious food just how you want it. People that rush are the ones that mess everything up. Best cook they've ever had there and to treat her the way this company does is absolutely uncalled for and I will never go there again!!! I will also be spreading the word in all trucker groups and our local fb page. ✌️

The food was really greasy and highly expensive but I’m poor so I see a lot of things expensive but the food is really good overall, the server was really nice even give me a free refill when I left kept on checking up on us. The atmosphere was all right. it was expensive but poor, a lot of things are expensive to me. If I had the money I would say I would go back.

Service was very slow but it was only one person and one cook the waitress was very friendly and this review should not reflect on her at all.
Food was outrageously expensive and omelet was 17$ eggs were super shiny, hash browns burnt, corn beef hash seemed like chopped up spam not actual corn beef hash.
However for a roadside gas station chain diner the glasses were super clean usually places like this you don't even wanna touch the drinks due to how the glasses look everything was super clean.
Main area smells like farts when you walk in but might be the gas station part.
Steak and salmon cooked perfectly tender abs moist! Delicious meal after a day of hiking.

THEY ELIMINATED THE BUFFET COMPLETELY! Its menu only! Service was slow and barely available, as there was only 1 server and 1 cook! The food came out under cooked. We had to wait, FOREVER, to get the servers attention to get it fixed. Then the steak recook sat in the food window another eternity before she brought it back over. If you're gonna run with only one server, there shud at least be a manager stepping in to help!

We stopped here like we normally would when we are headed to and from Phoenix. The waitress complained that we sat at her freshly cleaned table. I think we can find somewhere else to eat in the future.
