Had a really authentic mexican lunch when passing through. The restaurant is lined with šŸ€ns and blow ups. When you enter you walk through the patio. Area to a smaller enclosed section with inside tables and booths near the bar.

We were there at lunch time on Wednesday and were seated immediately. We sat in a booth near the bar. Only one server was working all the tables but server was still good.

For starters we ordered two mango margaritas. Very festive and good flavor. For the food i have to say the pictures of the food are missing a few bites, could not wait. We ordered the steak enchilada burrito. The sauce was delightful and was a well sized portion,as well as, a chile relleno combination. It was stuffed with cheese and egg and completely solved my hunger.

The outside seating area was larger than inside and had heaters. When we we there us was too cold to eat outside, no one did.

All in all highly recommend eating here. It is about 4 miles off the freeway on the business loop but totally worth it.

Amazing food! Everything is made from scratch. Veggie molajetes for us - huge meals, should have shared one. Delicious, especially the sauce. The margaritas were decent - not fresh-squeezed or anything, but also huge, and the presentation...! :) Upbeat vibe. Heaters in the outdoor seating when it's cold out. The servers remained very friendly and attentive when it got busy. Maybe(?) a little spendy for the area, but so worth it! We'll visit again anytime we pass through!

Rude service, chips and salsa were good. The Huevos Rancheros was disgusting.
I'm thinking the beans and rice were microwaved and the red sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce. Thinking it was poured over everything straight from the can.

Food was good and seemed authentic. Only negatives were high prices for a small town. Really slow service even as the place was thinning out. And then was told they had no ice when ordering water even as the table next to me got it. No refills

We stayed in Willcox on a 5-day cross-country trip and ate at La Unica on a Sunday night. It was clearly a popular place and deservedly so: the food, service and venue were all fabulous!!! Authentic food, welcoming staff, and cheerful decor. We loved this happy place!

Came here to try their Mexican as I had seen the reviews were nothing but positive.
The entrance to the restaurant is located past the outdoor seating area. The little left handed entrance is a take out counter I believe.
It’s a seat yourself anywhere situation. There isn’t a lot of indoor seating but plenty outdoors.
The restaurant is clean and has what I imagine to be traditional Mexican decor and colours. The chairs are hand carved and it adds a little unique flare to the place.
They have quite an extensive menu on hand.
You get complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are fried tortilla chips which are super crispy and tasty. The salsa is so good. It’s not spicy at all and has a good handmade flavour.
I dined for one so I was unable to finish it all.
I ordered the carnitas a la pollo which came with fresh flour tortillas as my choice. The tortillas were in fact very fresh and warm. So decadent.
The chicken wasn’t what i expected. I had anticipated a shredded chicken with some crisp as this is what carnitas normally is. Instead it was chicken strips in a mex flavour with peppers and onions. It was still very good nonetheless. The guacamole was fresh. I don’t know how they make their rice but oh my goodness it’s the best damn mexi rice I’ve ever had to date.
Their beans are also pretty tasty.
Fountain drinks provide a generous serving and allow for one free refill.
The portion size was massive- I was able to take home left overs for lunch the following day.
Service was prompt and friendly- with a nice smile. She was very kind and polite.
The food took a bit of a wait but it was maybe 10-12 minutes- nothing major.
The restaurant was not busy when I went.
They also do take out.
It’s clean and well kept, though more dated.
Definitely recommend this location. If I wasn’t hitting the road today I’d have loved to return to try a burrito.
Great prices too!

Parking: There’s a free public parking lot at the back or you can park on the street.

Absolutely AMAZING food!!! I was so happy that went to this place spur of the moment!! Chips and salsa were both homemade! Everything from service to the last bite of food was perfect! We sat in the patio! Love love love!! Parking is on the street but there was a festival going on.
