I believe it's literally just Rodney here, and he's very nice. Great little spot, feels like home.
COVID-19 limited hours: 11am-5pm-ishNormal hours: 11am-8pm
Nothing too special about it but decent for prices. Does not accept cards.
Delicious and accommodating during covid
Finally found some real cajun eatin'
Best wings out there, hole in the wall vibe and as we all know that's always the better food.
Have eaten here a couple of times. I have sat in front and the back. Rodney and I talk about books and adventures. The food is good and plentiful and tasty.
Wonderful food! We loved the ribs and shrimp creole. Rodney is a friendly and talented chef. Will be back for sure.
Bird Lovers come to Willcox for "Wings Over Willcox".We go to Rodney's for Hot?Wings, on our plate! ????It's nice that we can call for Pick-Up, or, on a nice day, dine on his patio.Rodney's is more Delicious, Less expensive, and More friendly than Any other place, in Willcox. My family and I Love the catfish!
We were visiting Willcox's little historic area, sampling some wine at the shops along the street when we passed by Rodney's. We looked at the menu on the way past. On the way back down the street several people were seated at the table out front and saw us looking at the menu in the window. They were not from the area, but were familiar with Rodney's from past visits. They were waiting for their orders and were quite taken with Rodney and the food. We decided to order too, and took our food to-go. There is nowhere to eat inside -- in fact it is crowded just for ordering. But I think there are tables in the back, plus it is across from a park with picnic tables. Everything in the dishes we ordered was plentiful -- especially for the low, low prices. The spicing was good -- though I never had a gumbo like Rodney makes. It was tasty, though. Rodney has been a fixture on this street for years apparently -- this area of the small town is developing, so if you come to Willcox for the wine or to see the Rex Allen Museum stop here for an inexpensive meal.

Not clean inside. Food was below average. The Gumbo had an odd after-taste. So did the fried catfish. Will not eat there again.
This place was recommended by friends of my brother-in-law and the food definitely met expectations. It doesn't look like much but the food is very good. We sat at the sidewalk table and had catfish and the ribs. Both were excellent and they were very well priced.
Best described as a kind of hole-in-the-wall outfit with very good food
Food is terrible and not sure his place will pass health inspection on its best days. But, the owner, Rodney, is the best character in town. I only come here to see and talk to him.
The food was good but it was clear that it was the end of the day. Our beans were burnt with little burnt bits from the bottom of the pot and our rice was half crunchy and half mushy. The green beans tasted as if they were canned but had some decent seasoning on them. The thing that saved it from a 2 Star was the fish with the creole sauce. It had good flavor and the fish was cooked well.
