I believe it's literally just Rodney here, and he's very nice. Great little spot, feels like home.

I at there again yesterday and had the fish creole. you get 3 good size pieces of fish, rice, beans and green beans, tomatoes and the herb and spice blend he makes up is delicious. plus he is a good guy. He cooks the catfish just enough and the coating is very thin. only place I eat in Willcox.

Best wings out there, hole in the wall vibe and as we all know that's always the better food.

Have eaten here a couple of times. I have sat in front and the back. Rodney and I talk about books and adventures. The food is good and plentiful and tasty.

Wonderful food! We loved the ribs and shrimp creole. Rodney is a friendly and talented chef. Will be back for sure.

We were visiting Willcox's little historic area, sampling some wine at the shops along the street when we passed by Rodney's. We looked at the menu on the way past. On the way back down the street several people were seated at the table out front and saw us looking at the menu in the window. They were not from the area, but were familiar with Rodney's from past visits. They were waiting for their orders and were quite taken with Rodney and the food. We decided to order too, and took our food to-go. There is nowhere to eat inside -- in fact it is crowded just for ordering. But I think there are tables in the back, plus it is across from a park with picnic tables. Everything in the dishes we ordered was plentiful -- especially for the low, low prices. The spicing was good -- though I never had a gumbo like Rodney makes. It was tasty, though. Rodney has been a fixture on this street for years apparently -- this area of the small town is developing, so if you come to Willcox for the wine or to see the Rex Allen Museum stop here for an inexpensive meal.

Not clean inside. Food was below average. The Gumbo had an odd after-taste. So did the fried catfish. Will not eat there again.

This place was recommended by friends of my brother-in-law and the food definitely met expectations. It doesn't look like much but the food is very good. We sat at the sidewalk table and had catfish and the ribs. Both were excellent and they were very well priced.

Been a couple of times and I like this small, literal hole in the wall restaurant with a varied menu and very casual, laid back atmosphere. It's all outdoor dining or takeout, and by outdoor, I mean you literally sit on some old benches and with some trees and cover overhead. The food is cooked right up for you in this tiny kitchen building and feels like real soulful. I enjoy it, and the owner is super friendly, and it's quirky, but the food isn't outstanding by any means. Not a lot of flavor, and the drink selection is mainly limited to some generic soda cans in the fridge. But it's a fascinating experience and the prices are good.
