Bearizona Grill + Concessions

We visit about once a month. This past Saturday there were two ladies working the bar. It wasn’t very busy, but I stood there for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. I gave up and had my husband try to order a drink, and he was immediately acknowledged and served within five minutes. I tried to give it another go, and once again stood there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, although both ladies looked at me multiple times. Once again, I sent my husband and he was back within five minutes, drink in hand. While I waited, I watched them fiddle around with trashcan liners and listen to one employee talk to another staff member, telling them all about her hair appointment. While I waited, new customers approached the bar and were acknowledged and served. I swear I plastered a smile on my face, but I have never received such rude treatment. And while I’m here, shout out to the restaurant for having decent food. We always get the nachos, and they always come out fast, and sadly, they are always cold. I’m happy to wait longer for hot food, but waiting for cold beer shouldn’t feel like a personal vendetta.

Unfortunately the meat had been grilled for a long time and was not juicy or hot. The french fries on the other hand were delicious but too salty. The place is run by just one person who does everything. Takes orders, cooks and delivers. That's why there's a queue. The tables for eating are well positioned and shaded.

It’s ok. Short drive thru to see a few animals. Doesn’t take long at all. Get out of your car and see a few more animals. This can easily be done in less than 2 hours.

During our first time visit to BearizonaI was disappointed with the quality of the chicken sandwich I ordered. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were unhelpful and dismissive.

Ok seriously…. Try the Swirl Mango & Strawberry frozen Sangria with an extra shot of Vodka! You won’t regret it! Sooooooo good! This is a cool park and restaurant located within the park! No need to go outside to find food! Very pleased with my Cuban Sandwich, fries, fried mushrooms, zucchini and Mac n cheese with pulled pork! The canyon land restaurant is located right next to the Jaguar enclosure! Eat outside by the jaguars!

I have an annual pass my husband buys me for my birthday because Bearizona is my happy place. We always have at least one meal each time we go to William's at Canyonlands. food is wonderful prices are great and staff is amazing. I love that the wait is never long but we tend to eat mid afternoon. See you in 15 day!

Go early and drive around multiple times, also bear snack time in the walk through is at 4:00 pm absolutely worth it!!
