My wife and I had lunch here. We really enjoyed it. Neat decor out front. Very pleasant staff and I have to say, listening to the locals bantering with one another was probably the best part. The kitchen was not the fastest in the world but the food made it well worth the small wait.
Great Rooster Wings and the potato boats are a meal in themselves.
Prices were reasonable. Similar to what im used to paying.
Oh and the piece of carrot cake my wife brought...
I visited this historic and atmospheric bar for the first time. The food here is very good. My wife and I ordered the Tiber steak and the New York steak. We met a ranger at the bar, and he told us about an interesting historical tradition with tokens that can be exchanged for alcohol. We had never heard about this before. It’s a great place — definitely worth visiting. If I’m ever nearby again, I will definitely come back.
Followed a gift shop’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! The vibe is great, and the pub menu offers a fantastic selection of meat dishes—steak, ribs, and a brisket sandwich were all delicious with generous portions, and the cucumber had a lovely homemade touch. The background music fit the atmosphere perfectly.
The only downside was the bartender, who wasn’t very engaging—perhaps just an off day—but it didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, a very enjoyable...
