I was born in Winslow in 1960. My father was stationed nearby. This place was fantastic then and it's fantastic now. Best sopapillas anywhere.
And still looks the same. Came through a few years ago and need to come back soon

Greeted with a lovely smile. Free Plate of chips & salsa!
Buy a breakfast get one free? Coffee/Tea included, seriously how are you making any money?
Comfy cafe/diner style atmosphere, if you’re looking for ambiance this won’t be for you.
However, if you appreciate small business, good food & hospitality this is it!!

This is one of my favorite places for tacos. The staff is always very nice and always makes you feel welcome every time, whether you are a local or someone visiting and I don't know how they can stay in business. Because when you order a meal. You get a second meal for free. So I usually leave a tip for the price of the second meal.

Phenomenal food! We came into Winslow looking to dine at the Turquoise Room. But found the prices were higher. So we came across the street to this casual diner and the food was out of this world Chile Relleno and and Navajo Taco. Highly recommend!!!

Dropped in on our way through AZ. As soon as we opened the door, we got dirty looks from customers and a man near the kitchen. The waitress pretended we didn’t exist. After looking over the dirty splattered menu for several minutes we gave up and walked out.

We started our day eating breakfast here. 2 breakfast plates with coffee for under $14. You can't beat that and they were good! Came back for dinner and they didn't disappoint. Burrito, tamale, rolled taco and enchiladas. All were excellent. There chips and salsa was a bonus. If you like authentic Mexican food, don't let the name fool you, stop in for a meal.

Staff is very rude, and when an order is messed after being purchased and you bring it to the staffs attention they have a bad attitude and make it seem as though it's an inconvenience to them when they messed up! If you're African American BEWARE.

I saw a plug for this restaurant on FB and live in Flag so I made the drive last night. I don't care about atmosphere that much. So the hole in the wall cafe is fine for me. The chips tasted like Tostitos from Safeway (fresh though) and the salsa was a bit spicy (I like hot salsa) but seemed store bought. Which is fine. I ordered the red combo that comes with a taco cheese (super thin) enchilada and a Tostada. Rice and beans. The beans were decent but the rice was scooped out of something and mushy. There's way too much lettuce and little tomato on everything and the taco w the fried shell was my favorite. I think it was beef. The Sope's were very good and overall it's a good place to stop in on the way thru town. Definitely not the best enchiladas in AZ as advertised on FB. Very similar to Romo's across the street. Hmmm
