This place is so good! This was our first time coming and so glad we did. The street food was amazing. Curry and drunken noodles were some of the best we've had. We will definitely be back!

What a great restaurant for truckers, travelers, and tourists alike! And, of course, for locals! This restaurant is a gem, with its food, friendly service, and Thai-feeling atmosphere, plus a small gift shop section. This restaurant works for both meat eaters, and vegans and vegetarians. It's located literally right off I-40, across from a truck stop. Plenty of parking.
My husband had a green beef curry. I had the yellow curry with tofu. Both were chock full of food and amazing flavor! You can adjust the amount of spice you want. We also enjoyed the spring roll appetizer with a thick peanut sauce. Excellent!
I met a trucker from Miami en route to California dining there for the first time. He had never had Thai food. He got a chicken dish and loved it! I saw a Native American family who are regulars, driving south from the reservation specifically to dine here. I observed another customer raving about his humongous entree plate of fried rice. So, even if you're new to Thai food I would definitely give Chang Thai a try. The menu has plenty of choices, and the servers including the owner will guide you on what will work with your preferences.
I highly recommend this restaurant. I think it's one of the best choices within a few hundred miles along the I-40 strip. Make your life an adventure and try something new!

Friendly service, great food, very close to the 40 freeway. A nice interior. Not a very inviting exterior, but don’t worry. We had fresh rolls, pad kra pow and salmon. All of it was very good. We would be happy to return.
