The food was exceptional - the fillet was marvelously tender and flavorful Our server was attentive and professional. The restaurant manager was surprising. It was Monday night and perhaps busier than normal. The Manager was all over the floor helping cheerfully where ever needed. Not the norm in many restaurants. Run, don't walk to The Turquoise Room in the historic La Posada in Winslow AZ. There's a reason it was just selected as the #1 restaurant in Arizona. I had the Bison Osso Bucco with a blackberry sauce, green chile cheese au gratin potatoes and a great medley of veggies including shaved asparagus. Truly one of the best meals I have ever had. Stayed at the La Posada hotel and decided to have dinner at the Turquoise Room. The greeter and manager were very nice and accommodating, but our wait person was annoyed with us for some reason. The food came out great, so no complaints there. Hence my rating; 5 for food and 1 for service averages out to a 3. If you are in the area or staying at the hotel, I would not hesitate to eat there.
