This place was really nice and very clean. Of course, it's in the middle of nowhere, so pricing was a little high. The food was very homemade and tasty. The service was perfect. Marla was the cook and server, so it wasn't fast like the city. I was in Arizona to visit my sister, It gave us time to chit chat and visit. Overall, it was nice, and we will be back.

Me and my wife drove through the area on our way home from camping, Young is beautiful and The Pleasing Palate was the prefect pit stop for lunch. I got the grilled chicken bacon avocado sandwich. It was great, probably the best I've ever had. The portions were good and was reasonably priced. Next time I'm in the area I'll be getting another.

Marla is an excellent cook. Her kitchen is small but clean. Her food is simple and fresh and DELICIOUS. Best meatloaf I've ever had. Her breakfasts are phenomenal so are her weekly specials. Wonderful place.

Found this gem during our cross country trip that had us passing through the area. My salad was extremely fresh and the homemade dressing was the perfect addition. Wish we could take this place everywhere we go on our trip! The meal was delicious, made to order, and the company (Marla & Harley) were unmatched. Would 100% recommend to anyone going through the area to stop at the Pleasing Palate!
