As an out of towner I was just hoping for a good place to eat near to my hotel. Imagine my joy when I found this wonderful local restaurant. The food was great, but the service is what excelles. From the moment you walk in you feel like your at home. The wait staff is pleasant and seems to know everyone, a good sign always. I want to give a particular shout out to Donna for making me feel so welcome. She is truly an asset to this business.

A traditional home town diner. Counter seating, boothes and tables. Breakfast is wonderful. Large flavorful amounts. Prices are great! Waitress is attentive and pleasant. Remembers us from visit to visit, even our order! Susie is the best!!!! She works Monday thru Thursday am. Give it a try!! Well worth a visit!

Thank you Leslie and staff! We were on a tight timeline and they worked hard to get our family for four in and out quickly and full from a delicious meal. Burgers were great. French toast and pancakes also great. Couldn’t have asked for better service and food at a fair price and short timeline.

Stopped by for brunch on a Tuesday. Nice little old school diner. Food was good, except don't recommend the hash browns...they were basically a squashed tater mixture. But, the home fries were good, kind of like taters obrien, with onions and bell peppers...wished the taters were crispy. Chicken fried steak was good, gravy was excellent. Eggs cooked just right. Denver omelet was very good also.

The menu is very basic. I think it's how they keep the prices down. They have a Monday through Friday special. Breakfast is only 5 bucks. It's all good food. Nothing fancy but it is wholesome. Get this... .it includes a large drink for the lunches.

First time at Ken's Diner which is a hidden gem in Youngtown & very close to my home in Sun City. Susie the waitress was as good as can be. My custom.order was prepared perfectly.

This was our first time visiting Ken's Diner and the service was fantastic. The food tasted really good, but my omelette could have had a few more veggies in it they were kind of scarce. We will definitely give it another try. It's hard to find some of these small mom and pop diners that have good food good service and that are clean

Don't let this place 's size fool you - they have amazing food at amazing prices! The breakfast burrito was the best I've had in Phoenix and the country gravy was delicious too! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I had breakfast at Ken’s Diner this morning and were very disappointed. We did not know that the restaurant had changed hands and were met with a much diminished menu with little of the diversity and creativity of the previous establishment. We still were hopeful, but that was dashed when we saw how the eggs were prepared and the mess on the plates. My husband’s over easy eggs had one yolk broke and were small and sad looking with the small biscuit and gravy he had ordered. My eggs, which I ordered basted easy, were inedible. Way overcooked on a too hot grill. The small plates that the meal came on were not even nearly filled—no where near a full meal. I recommend adding potatoes to the plate—even if you have to charge 50 cents extra. It simply was not a breakfast meal for $9.00/plate. Really, for a breakfast spot you should have a cook who’s proficient with eggs.

Warmly greeted upon entry and immediately seated. The crowd rush seemingly arrives in waves and apparently we arrived at the perfect time to avoid any seating delays.
Over all, an extremely pleasant experience with hot, fresh and delicious food. The table service was excellent without issue.
Would gladly return.
