Coffee isn't very good.
Had a sockeye salmon sub, the best hot chocolate, and my husband had the excellent smooth coffee. We will be back.
Vegetarian options: New York style pizza, vegetarian or Margherita, sandwiches ...
Kid-friendliness: Looked like it was whole family .

I keep giving them another chance but the last time I was in Chartreuse Moose was so discouraging, I don't know if I can go again. There was no lineup so it was just me at the counter waiting to place an order. The owner, who was working on a coffee a few feet away, glanced up to look at me. I smiled and said hi. She scowled and didn't say a word. No greeting whatsoever and no comment to indicate she would be with me in a moment.
I stood there for a few minutes being ignored. I was about to give up and leave but suddenly a friend showed up in line behind me and we started talking. My friend was greeted by the owner who asked her something to the effect of "would you like your usual?", but I was still not acknowledged. My friend asked what I wanted and she so kindly bought it for me. I put some cash in the tip jar, though I don't know why, as the service was hurtful.
I would like to go back as they do have good coffee but the customer service is almost always so cold. A couple times I was served by girls I knew, and they were cheery and friendly, but they soon were not working there anymore.
I don't like to say negative things about local business people, but I have heard from others that the owner was cold and brisk with them, too. Hopefully she will take our concerns seriously and treat her customers with more kindness as we have come in and helped her succeed to where her shop has now been in business since at least 2003 that I recall from when it was down the street a bit.

Incredibly rude staff. Sat Oct 19th 1215pm.
We went to BJ's onuts insead, much much better.
Wonderful little cafe in the small town of 100 Mile House. We made a quick stop there for a coffee and a sandwich. The coffee was delicious and the sandwich was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended!

Great stop for lunch. Too bad if you eat inside, the milk is served in a plastic cup, with a lid and a straw.
Parking: 100 miles house is a nice little village. With a number of caches for us as well

Popped by to grab a couple afternoon cold ones. Service was quick. Found it funny that the barista gave us a hard time for ordering decaf- then gave the next customer a hard time for something they ordered as well. Maybe this is just part of the service they offer? Prices on par with other coffee shops. Neat that they have a map displaying places where other customers have hailed from. Money display too!
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free milk options available.

The atmosphere is the saving grace of this place for me. It’s quaint, fun, and quirky, but the level of quality for food and coffee you’re receiving for the price just doesn’t match up.
Also, not sure if it was just a bad batch of roasting beans or something, but the other half and I both left smelling like burnt plastic after grabbing our order to go. We couldn’t stay because the smell was overpowering.
