Overall, generally enjoyed our experiences here. Has been a bit hit or miss when it comes to unexplainable long wait times (eg. One of the only tables in the restaurant but still waiting 45min for a burger & main salad)

Went here for our 5th anniversary. We can not say more than enough, the chef was absolutely talented and such amazing service. We had starter of calamari (delicious and light) then our mains superb. The steak and frites were delicious and cooked the steak to perfection. The butternut squash was in a beautiful cream sauce with yummy harvest vegetables. I asked by email for the to do a surprise on the dessert and they did not disappoint. The cheese cake was delicious as well! Blown away and would absolutely 100% recommend everyone check them out. Thank you guys for making our special day even more memorable. You guys rock!

My husband and I were kinda regulars when this place was in 100 Mile, so we decided to try the new location on tuesday. What we encountered that night was odd to say the least.
We got to the restaurant around 5 and were the first in the dinning room. Took a few minutes to look over the menu as we'd not seen it before and during that time the waitress asked us for our drink order.
I ordered a pepsi and my husband ordered water and tea, this is where things started off confusing because the water wasn't boiling hot but like it was just hot water out of the tap.
We then order the appies, we ordered calmari and pork short ribs we also ordred our mains at the same time. About 10 minutes into waiting after ordering we are told the pork ribs need to be subbed cause they don't look good and so we get wings instead. (now we appreciate the warning about the pork ribs) it then takes perhaps another 20 to get appies by then there are at least 4-5 other groups that came in after us.
We notice others getting food before us not just appetizers but also their mains.
What we ordered for mains: steak medium well w/ mash and seasonal veggies added a side of shrimp
The mac and cheese w/ garlic bread
fish (2 pieces) and chips coleslaw on the side
So nothing to wild
It took an hour it was 6:30 when we got our food No real explanation given as to why the mains took so long.
With those particular mains usually things like ketchup, vinigar, and steak sauce are brought out but nothing was brought out and with waiting I only got one drink refill (minor in the scheme of all this, but something to note).
Food finally arrives but not all of it together my steak and mash arrive first with the mac and cheese, the steak is on one of those sizzle platters, but there was no warmth to it which I thought was odd. (The steak was cooked appropriately.) Though it looked seasoned it did not taste very seasoned which was a theme for both mains. The prawns were seasoned but tasted alittle weird.
My husband's fish and chips came out and the only description of the fish he could give me was it tasted like water...beyond that was bland as well. Both pieces of fish weren't brought out together (as you will see in pictures) and they looked/were a little over cooked.
What were advertised as seasonal veggies was a carrot quartered and grilled? and laid out on a singular piece of lettuce.
We were the first table in and the second to last left in the dinning room with the other table being a party of like 8 who came in a few minutes after us and were still waiting after we left.
I'm unsure if this was an off day as the reviews I saw were very promising. We will not be returning.

The Eatery has really good food. I’ve had their chopped Thai salad with tofu and it’s honestly addicting! It’s so fresh and delicious. Their tofu is incredible, like seriously so, so good.
The chopped Thai salad is vegan if you add tofu, and there are other vegan options as well.
I’ve also tried the ramen bowl, which can be made vegan by removing the egg, and I added tofu to that too. Again, amazing.
Everything I’ve had has been great, and I love that they can make things vegan without any issue. Definitely recommend, especially for that Thai salad and their tofu.
