After being at the Edmonton airshow and having probably one of the best poutines that I have ever had I was very disappointed with Big Reds at the Abbotsford airshow. In Edmonton I had butter chicken poutine and the portion size was triple and $3 less. I ordered the hot chicken poutine at the Abbotsford airshow for $14. What I rip off. I got next to no chicken. The size was not much bigger that a McDonald’s large fries and the gravy was Luke warm and did not even melt the cheese. I seen someone else with a poutine from triple o”s truck and I was jealous and that is not saying a lot other than how ripped off I felt. I am a foodie and love a good food truck. The one compliment that I have to give big reds is that their fresh cut fries are great. I right a lot of reviews on TripAdvisor and rarely have I written negative reviews as I feel small businesses need to be acknowledged for good food, so with my second bad reviews ever it goes to Big Red”s Poutine.
