Bow & Stern Abbotsford

Whenever I go to a restaurant serving seafood, I like to try their clam chowder. From coast to coast in Canada and the US. I have to say that the clam chowder here is excellent. I loved it. Waitress was very accommodating even letting me have a sample before ordering. Will be coming back for more chowder.

The tuna poke bowl was delicious!!! :)

Great place for groups, and dinner with more than 2 people. It's a little on the loud side for an intimate dinner date. Amazing food, fresh. Great staff amazing service.

Excellent atmosphere and food! Appetizers were amazing. Never knew brussel sprouts could be so tasty! I had the Seafood Linguini. All very fresh. Carrot cake to finish it off. Best Carrot cake I have ever had. Candied walnuts are a nice touch. The only thing I didn't like were the tiny forks. I was hungry and it took a while to eat the dinner lol.

It was our very first time to visit District 1881 and this awesome restaurant.
We were searching where to go for late lunch and decided to give it a try at Bow and Stern.
Since none of us drink lately, we needed some place for ‘food & family time’, than ‘drinks’.
We were greeted by friendly staffs at the front and sitted near the entrance, but it was not cold or chill as there was not so much people walking in and out.
For nearly ten minutes, nobody seemed interested in serving our table, until this great wonderful server, SARAH V. came and made our day with very smoothly professional and detail oriented serving skills. She was very polite and gentle even to my 9 years old son.
She offered another glass of pop I was drinking and she already kept it behind her and surprised me! What a sense of accomplishment of her! Food we ordered tasted all good and again, Sarah was the biggest portion of our priceless family time.
Of course I don’t know the owner(s) of this restaurant, but I can tell for sure they are super fortunate that Sarah is the part of this team and we were her lucky happy guests.
We will visit this restaurant for another great time and memorable experience.

The seafood dishes here are unreal! Lovely wine selection too. But the thing that made mine and my husbands date night perfect was Alyshia!!!! Holy shamoly! She knew her stuff, has a great sense of humour and you can tell she loves her job. Will be coming back for her!

Found this place a few months ago been back about three times amazing food always cooked perfectly and the staff is top shelf Alicia has been fantastic. Great service would recommend this place to all my friends
