Great food, wasn't spicy as in hot but the flavors combined were amazing!! Owner and staff are very kind and knowledgeable ..Will be back for sure bringing people with us!! 😉

Had a fantastic night at coolrunnings! The food was excellent and service was chilled and friendly, as you'd expect Jamaican hospitality!
We'll definitely be back again to enjoy jamming sessions in the winter :)

We arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday…the website said “open” from 5pm onwards, however, when we drove up we could see that the lights were off and the sign said “closed”. I was bringing my friend here for her 60th birthday dinner, we were very disappointed. I also called ahead just incase we needed to make reservations - no one answered the phone and their voicemail message also did not indicate that they were closed.

When I came to Cool Runnings, the restaurant was still closed when I arrived sometime after 5, due to a scheduled catering. Even with the shortage of staff, someone still welcomed me in.

I ordered the Jerked Chicken and Pork Combo with the Amani’s Nut Milk cocktail. The drink had a good balance of rum and natural flavouring that almost taste like coconut. The meal came with complimentary soup that was very flavourful. Despite being somewhat spicy, I really enjoyed the meal. The meat was succulent and nicely marinated. The rice and salad were solid good.

The interior was dark but clean and spacious. They play reggae music in the establishment, either on a player or live in the restaurant to give it that Jamaican authenticity. The one staff member that served me was very pleasant and did a lot to accommodate me, including making a drink that she did not think she could do.

This is a great restaurant for genuine Jamaican food. I hope the next time I come to Cool Runnings, the experience will be better.

L.I.N.C Society recently hired Coolrunnings Bistro to cook some specialty dishes for an event we were hosting. And asked them pretty last minute for help! But they came through in an amazing way. Our guests raved about the food and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend them, and would absolutely use their service again. This hubby/wife team was awesome!
