Dake Japanese Restaurant

My family got about five rolls from this place. Each roll was pretty bad. I had the Beef Teriyaki roll. The beef was very over cooked to the point that it was chewy. My dad had a deep-fried California roll, and it was undercooked. The dough was very mushy and still very doughy.The service itself was also fairly bad, although we did come in 30 minutes before closing, so that makes sense. Despite the service being bad, our food should have at least been cooked properly.

One of the best all you can eat sushi places in town. The pacing and portions are well thought out. They encourage you to have a good time but to be mindful of waste, which is done well here. The food is fresh and the variety is immense. You will be hard pressed to not find something to your liking here.

Food was fire! Delicious... No complaints! Service was meh. The server seemed annoyed and that she'd rather be anywhere else, I was definitely put off by that.I also noticed that no lights were actually on in the dining room, so the lighting was what was coming through the windows, odd set up, but okay. It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect. I don't base a place off of one visit, so we will be back.... again, the food was delicious!

Parking: Small parking lot however, it was easy to find a space. I can see an issue if they and the other businesses get busy.

Fantastic service and excellent food. Went for the all you can eat dinner and it is 100% worth it. The food is so fresh and the quality is phenomenal. Definitely recommend

Hands down one of the best sushi places in Abbotsford. Even received a free item with my order. Fish tasted fresh and rolls were made really well. Wasabi was vibrant green and delicious. Must try once.

Ordered here sushi for my sun’s birthday party at home) He was happy and liked the taste and good looking presentation. I enjoyed the surprise ?. Would definitely recommend Dake Restaurant) hope to be back to you soon ???

We worried about it after reading the Google reviews, but in the end decided to give it a try. It was a good decision. The price is only 19.99 and is AYCE. In particular, there were many types of rolls. Can't say the food is perfact, but for the price of 19.99 and considering that it's a very good choice. The tempuras, rolls and sashimi were excellent. We visited right after opening on a weekday, and there were already people waiting outside. The servers were friendly, the food we ordered came out quickly.

Ordered a large amount for take out. Great variety. Fresh and tasty!

Great place for AYCE...better than many options available at this price point in Vancouver area.The sizes of the sushi were good - bite sized pieces. They don't pack the sushi rice like some of the places that I will not mention.

Extreme limitation on sashimi. They say 3 pieces per person but each piece is so small that you're really only getting 1 normal size. Cone had just a smear of fish. They fill you with rice or pollock so they save on the more expensive ingredients. Their house special roll is essentially a California roll.

5 star for the price! Wish it was close to home because it would be our go to place. Delicious. Good quality for all you can eat. They have the mango ice cream I've been missing for a long time too! Rolls were good and the sashimi is smaller then normal but not bad. Tempura was nice and crunchy as well. Def a place we will hit up when we come to Abby.

Great sushi place where you can go for all you can eat or regular menu. Reasonable prices. My husband and I are repeat customers. We always overeat.

Kid-friendliness: They supply high chairs for kids. Different prices for different age group.

Been here a few times the food is decent and not expensive. Sadly during my last visit the staff cut my friend and I off after three orders and told us we couldn’t order more. Why? No idea, we were eating all that we ordered and and restaurant was empty besides one other table. If there is a limit on how many order sheets you are allowed it should be stated some where.

I pass through to Vancouver from Edmonton a few times a year, I stop in at Dake, I go for the all you can eat, I enjoy every well prepared morsel, they run a good Sushi Restaurant and I always make sure to tip for the kind service as I see it can be very busy sometimes.The cooks make amazing food, I don't mind the smaller sashimi, I prefer smaller hits as I find the taste more defined.One of my favorites, the salmon cheek...I have no idea why, but that cheek is so good and it feels like a healthy item for my body.I do wish the Restaurant was larger as I've noticed larger crowds, but I know that leases costs have risen absurdly in the Abbotsford region and throughout to whistler.Dake would be very welcome in Edmonton Alberta or Alberta in general, we appreciate quality made food by good people.Thank you Dake ?

Absolutely the best sushi place I've every been to! I still travel here from Calgary just to visit, and it's always a good time. Extremely fast, we got our our food under 5m after ordering! Large, good quality rolls and fish! I've gone with people who say they hate sushi and completely changed their minds based on this restaurant. I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and it's still incredible.
