Not sure what happened, but the quality of food has drastically changed and significantly WORSENED in the last year or so. When ordering any raw salmon, it smells “fishy” and disgusting… like it’s sat out too long. Much smaller portions and the cost keeps going up. STOP TRYING TO CUT COSTS when it impacts your customers!! You will lose so much business.
But even more upsetting is the certain server (possible owner or daughter?) that deals with the front end. She has TERRIBLE, APPALLING customer service. The WORST I’ve seen in the restaurant industry in a long time. She is condescending and unwilling to accept when she makes a mistake. She speaks to coworkers negatively about customers. Blames customers when SHE makes ordering mistakes, and is completely unaccommodating or apologetic. She is unkind and RUDE! She has no interest in keeping good business and long term relationships with customers. She has ZERO sense of what it means to run a successful business or make people feel welcome. Don’t ask for anything extra or what would be expected at ANY restaurant. It’s a battle.
This used to be our favourite sushi restaurant when visiting friends nearby, but we will certainly never return. We gave them 3 opportunities to see if it was just an “off day”… but it is their new and horrible approach to service and food. You will lose so many customers with that unapproachable garbage attitude. That lady needs to go! What a poor excuse for a server or hostess.

Good price, good location, friendly staff and really nice owner. Located near ARC.
Combination Japanese food and Korean food.
They have kid tray for lunch and dinner and my kids always enjoy with taste and variety of items.
Absolutely Delicious
Great food, great service. Be careful what shoes you wear because the floor is ridiculously slippery.
Been going here since high school always an amazing experience, my go to place in Abbotsford
Small joint with a large menu.
Food was good, portion of gomae was small. Food came quickly. Prices are a bit higher than you may find at other sushi places.
Staff was friendly and prompt.
4-person booths are a nice option
Best one in town!
One of my favourite sushi places in Abbotsford! I love the beef rolls here ♥
Price was too high and the quality was just mediocre. Very nice staff and maybe that is the normal price in Abby, but in Langley everywhere I go the prices are cheaper by a dollar or more per roll, and the quality is better. $8 for a small chop scallop roll is too much.

Super cute, ordered take out but had an Appy and some drinks while waiting for our food. I'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Been going here for 15 years. I've tried all other sushi places in Abbotsford, this is the best one. Dine-in and take out always has good food, I've had no bad experiences here. I recommend this place.

Recently moved from Vancouver and was craving sushi. I was very hesitant to get sushi as I’ve mostly heard people say that there are no proper sushi places in Abbotsford. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I decided to try it out. I was very impressed with the quality and atmosphere of Ebisu. Will definitely go back and would recommend to others

Ordered the tuna salmon combo and the the tuna looked grey and the nigiri sushi was small. It was not fresh. The rolls were ok and the sunomono was fine. We ordered there because it was next to a great nail bar. We will order elsewhere next time.
