Ebisu Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Been going here for 15 years. I've tried all other sushi places in Abbotsford, this is the best one. Dine-in and take out always has good food, I've had no bad experiences here. I recommend this place.

Recently moved from Vancouver and was craving sushi. I was very hesitant to get sushi as I’ve mostly heard people say that there are no proper sushi places in Abbotsford. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I decided to try it out. I was very impressed with the quality and atmosphere of Ebisu. Will definitely go back and would recommend to others

Ordered the tuna salmon combo and the the tuna looked grey and the nigiri sushi was small. It was not fresh. The rolls were ok and the sunomono was fine. We ordered there because it was next to a great nail bar. We will order elsewhere next time.

We were greeted right away, and staff are incredibly nice. My favourite part besides the friendly staff and food was how clean the cups and cutlery were. The food was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Food is great. Unfortunately the last few times of ordering they have forgotten sauces or other small things that make a difference to the sushi experience. But i dont notice until i get home. Also they have a deal if u call in but their phone lines seem to be busy always even if the resturant isnt very busy which is unfortunate.

Stopped by this spot for dinner, and I have to say, the food was pretty tasty, like, it definitely hit the spot. And the ambiance was chill, which made it a great place to unwind after a long day.

Ordered food from them on Door Dash. Decided to order a party platter for the family for dinner. This was the first time trying this location, but definitly not the first time having sushi.Part way into the meal, one of our family members began to have a serious allergic reaction. Only after calling the location did we learn they use a peanut sauce.The manager was unapolagetic and simply asked "what do you want me to do about it?". I looked through the app again to see if I missed any warnings or cautions, and none were seen. The manager informed us it was our job to research the meal and its individual components before ordering.So between the hours spent in hospital, and the unempathetic and frankly rude manager of this resteraunt, I cannot in good faith leave a positive review. The manager treated us with complete disrespect and acted as though a peanut allergy is not common.

Descent place, rolls were ok sized in comparison to price but on the smaller side. Charged us $3 for Gluten Free Soya Sauce for 1 roll. Won’t be coming back.
