Greek Islands Restaurant

In our quest for discovering Greek food in lower mainland, we happened to have dined at Greek Islands.
Ordered a platter for 2 and it was a good huge portion! The Calamari was just 🤌🏻
Reasonably priced as well.

Greek Islands lived up to the expectations, it was very very tasty. I was a bit disappointment at first because the tables are so close to one another the people behind me kept bumping my chair, and they seemed to be getting the A+++ experience despite our service being mediocre. As dinner went on our server delivered us loads of extra sauce (when we only asked for one) and was very kind so it made up for it. This is definitely a solid place to have dinner.

I have to rant about this big, beautiful Greek restaurant. It is by far the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to.To start with the escargot was soooo flavorful and bubbly hot. That alone gets extra stars! The sangria looked like a piece art, so there is a couple more well deserved stars on top of that. I ordered the chicken pacific dinner that came with soup or salad plus roasted potato, rice and delicious veggies. OMG I have to mention the incredible server we had. FANTASTIC and super accommodating when we had a 5th person show up. Now comes the big, beautiful bill. It actually turned out not to be that much at all.

I had the rack of lamb with Greek salad. We shared Crème Brûlée for dessert. It was all perfect and amazing. I definitely 💯 recommend and we will definitely 💯 be back. We went there for our 6month anniversary and yesterday we celebrated our 11 year anniversary ❤️

This Restaurant is Pure Perfection!
They were greeted very enthusiastically and even though we didn't have a reservation and they were packed with. We were lucky enough that somebody had canceled and were seated right away. We had Saginaki that was flambayed in front of us - Calimari that was fresh & tasty with homemade Tzatziki & the Baklava eas also homemade & DIVINE - not too sweet and it left us wanting more but we were stuffed at that point.
When we left, both my friend & I were each given a full bottle of their, also homemade, Greek Dressing.
If I could rate this restaurant higher I'd give it a whole hearted 10 outta 10.
I don't normally order lemonade but I'm so glad I did as it was made fresh right there and absolutely there's quenching.
Apparently there are two Greek Island restaurants, owned by brothers and I can only imagine the other is just as delectable has this one is. I've never been to Greece but I truly felt like I was transported there on the Most Delicious Way Possible!
It's a good they have overflow parking because this is obviously popular - the first lot was absolutely full and the second was much needed!

Started of great, greated by Manager and brought to our table without a reservation. Ordered the platter for two with extras. Then it went sideways. Bar noise was higher than the standard hum of talking of the guests , potatoes greasy not crisp, veggies were, boiled? not appitizing. Lamb, Greek salad, and rice were well done. Not a total failure, service was better than expected.

I just had lunch at the Langdon St location in Abbotsford. They have Burgers on their lunch menu! The food was fresh and Hot! And if course Tasty! ❤️

Excellent food, service and good portions.

Our meal at Greek Islands was unparalleled. Best meal of our entire trip. We got the homemade hummus and pita and the cheddar potato soup. They called it the soup of the day, we called it the best soup of our lives. While we never learned our waiter’s name, he had dark curly hair and was the best man we had ever met. The service was spectacular and he greeted us as if we were old friends. He even gave us free candy and a bottle of their specialty salad dressing to take on our way. I have no reasons to ever visit Abbottsford again, but I would for this place. Beautiful experience!

What happened to our takeout orders of 2 dinner sized Chicken Souvlaki ???
- Greek salad was frozen on bottom, cukes soggy and the whole salad was watery
- Chicken was dry and tasted like warmed up leftovers, very small little pieces
- got 3 triangles of pita bread ( 3/4 piece) of Pita Bread for 2 meals
Rice, potatoes, veggies were good.
So disappointed ☹️

Recently had my 31st birthday here. Staff went above and beyond allowing us to bring our own cake and they served it with lit candles. Amazing amazing time.
