The Highwayman Pub - Abbotsford

I ordered a chicken burger on uber and got beef😍😍😍😍 I have dietary restrictions and didn’t get my money back!! So happy I spent almost $30 on a bun with sauce and some lettuce and barely cooked fries🥰

I understand mistakes happen and maybe I’m just hangry but it definitely wasn’t worth the price I paid, plus two stars for the pickle tho

Had the cheese burger maybe I was supposed to ask for some kind of sauce on it 🤔

Hats off to the friendly staff. The food is always fresh and generally gets to the table faster than expected. Highly recommended.

Only gave less stars because of attitude given by the *one* employee(others were happy to help) regarding wheelchair access for a person that was with us.. . Otherwise we love love this place & service etc, was a perfect go to after our buddys' memorial service to have a drink in his memory. Btw it was our pased away friend's family member who is wheelchair bound. Highly recommend on game nights too.

Nice. Local type of pub. Not overly fancy, but clean, beer was cold. Priced right.

We enjoyed some drinks and lunch while out shopping, food was fantastic, and we just made happy hour! Love this place

I always have a great time at the Highwayman Pub! I always find my self wanting to get a spot in Haileys Section. Her service is absolutely incredible, she’s beyond efficient, attentive and never fails to amaze us!! She makes my experience ten times better every time I’m there that’s for sure!! Cheers to Hailey for always giving us your all! Favourite place in Abbotsford by far!!

I have eaten here off and on for several years. The food quality has been a roll of the dice or sometimes feels like Russian roulette for what is going to happen.
The servers (very understaffed) seem to try their best but it is ridiculous what you expect of them for a customer/ server ratio. But the 2 servers working when it's super busy is cheap of you.
I receive good food, ok food, but last night I cannot believe what the cook served me! Both sides of the bun were burnt so bad that after the first bite all the black went all over the burger. The servers look on her face was mega shame that the kitchen expected me to eat it. It took at least 20 minutes to get it replaced and it was OK at best and I am bring generous.
Perhaps take a field trip with kitchen staff and get them to have a burger from "Loudmouth" and compare the trash I was presented with. (Just 1 example)
I was thinking about getting wings, but even they are mega sad and tiny compared to other places. It's kinda sad that I just want to watch a game and need to eat before I come because of the low quality of food. 👎

Kool little bar has pool tables, couple of tv to watch sports on.
Swifty the owner little diffrent but friendly as can be. I can’t wait to go back Wisconsin and have few beers here. One thing it’s cash only.

I use to go to the Highwaymen quite often 10-15yrs ago and I had zero complaints, great environment, great food, great service 👌. Since returning over the past few months, myself and friends have walked out twice out of frustration due to literally zero service after 20-25 mins of sitting there in plain sight, and maybe 4 other cars in the parking. Generally when people come there for lunch during the week they are on their lunch break and have limited time. If it was busy I could understand sitting there 10-15 maybe, but this I don’t understand, I shouldn’t have to track people down for service. Today was our last time giving this a chance. It’s always been a good establishment in the past, time to do better 👎
