Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro

A nice place to visit for a quiet atmosphere and to have good conversations. The food is adequate and hits the right spot. However, the friendly staff make the experience.

Great little place with really friendly staff. Found some tasty treats, even the pup got his pup cup 😊. The coffee was excellent and it had lots of parking.

They have free use blankets which is sweet. Also proper lattes!

Was excited to try this cafe as it's close to my work and had good reviews. I ordered a Mocha Frapp and Ham & Cheese sandwich for lunch.
Menu online says the sandwich is ham, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo, grainy mustard, salt and pepper. What I received was a few slices of ham and 1 slice of cheddar between bread with a bit of mayo, no veggies or mustard. The frapp was ok, though nothing special. No whip, just blended coffee, choc and ice. I'd have brought it back but didn't notice the sandwich until I'd already left.
At almost $20 for a sandwich and coffee, I'm disappointed.
Giving 2 stars because the staff were nice. As this was my first experience I don't know that I'll be back.

Gave this café not one, but two chances… and both lattes left me wondering if the espresso forgot to show up.
Second time, I even begged for two extra shots — still just tasted like oat milk living its best life.
BUT — the scone? Absolute superstar. Fluffy, buttery, and magical with the cream.
I’ll be back… but for the scone, not the coffee!

When you go in for a coffee which was deelish, Milky Way with oat milk and get surprised with a pup cup and biscuits for your dog. What a lovely surprise and delicious pit stop on our drive through. Till next time ☕️

Great staff and amazing food

Nice coffee shop and friendly baristas but unfortunately I hated my latte with almond milk - tasted watery and almond milk had curdled. I think the regular coffee here should be good but definitely not dairy free versions.

I’ve been to hugs in a mug a few times recently and every time I’ve gone I’ve been so impressed by the friendly staff and great service! Recently I went there with some friends and we had brought in a cake and even though the cake was not from their store, they still offered us plates, forks, and even helped us cut the cake!! We didn’t even have to ask the staff were all so sweet! I will be going again I'm sure!

Award winning cafe and it shows. I highly recommend this venue. Cozy atmosphere with high ceilings and a fireplace. Lots of patio seating and complimentary blankets. We enjoyed the tea and breakfast wraps. I will definitely return because I want to try ALL the pastries!

Delicious coffee, delectable treats, and excellent service! This is a bistro that truly lives up to its name - you feel like you just got a warm comforting hug with your order! Dont pass this place by - it's going to be your new favorite coffee spot!
