Stopped by to get a quick snack during a road trip and ordered the orange cranberry muffin. There were only cranberries on the top of the muffin while the rest of the muffin was all plain batter.

My goto place for local coffee. My favorite drink is the Milky Way, hot or iced or frap you can't go wrong its so good. Seasonal soups and sandwiches are amazing as well.

Always felt welcomed by the bright and friendly staff. Their Insta game is 🔥

My only wish is they stay open till 8pm and serve croissants - butter and chocolate atleast.

This is by far my favourite cafe, the staff are genuinely kind. Every visit feels special, and it’s the kind of place that warms your heart as much as your coffee.
They also make the best caramel macchiatos I’ve ever tasted 😊🩷

No vegan options.
Options on food- salsa, almond milk,- were never added. Service was slow. Not just for us- we overheard issues with another table.

I have been going to Hugs In A Mug since Katie opened it. I feel like it’s like Cheers where everyone knows your name 🤣
Sadly we moved away last December. We are back visiting and I’ve already been back to see the staff twice.
Such a great coffee place for Abbotsford!!! ♥️

My cousin and I went to check this place out for breakfast today, although we were super excited to try this place, we were seriously disappointed! Only positive thing we have to say is that the location and the actual atmosphere was really nice, cute, and comfy. Other than that, nothing positive to say. Food was way over priced and just lacking in taste. My cousin said it best: it was giving convenience store food. We ordered the breakfast wrap: it was still cold and cheese wasn’t melted. It looked like they just tried to put grill marks on it to make it look like they’ve done something. Breakfast sandwich: underwhelming and giving gas station sandwich. They also heavily depend on tomatoes in their food for some reason and we were not tomato people. We also got a brownie; I was so shocked when I realised they didn’t even warm up the brownie?! Sooo not appetising: cold, hard, and stale. Hardly tasted like chocolate. My cousin got an iced chai latte: she didn’t hate it but nothing to brag about. I got an iced vanilla latte: this was disgusting. It had the absolute oddest after taste. I didn’t even drink a quarter of it and threw it away. It was not drinkable. I’m shocked how someone could mess up such a simple drink. It just tasted like cheap coffee. Finally the service, soo underwhelming. We kept wondering if their was some sort of detailed menu besides the one on the wall, because the one on the wall just has general terms listed like ‘Sandwich’ or ‘bagel’ or ‘wrap’ without any further explanation - we had no idea what kind of sandwich, bagels, or wraps they had! Prices were also not listed anywhere, which was so frustrating too. After wasting almost 10 minutes, I finally noticed a stand with menus stacked behind some other papers. This menu had the prices, but not for everything. The server was so unhelpful too. We asked to split the bill and we were told they aren’t able to split bills. I find it hard to believe that any point-of-sale system nowadays is unable to split a bill 2 ways! Finally, their desserts/pastries/cookies all looked dry in the case. Everything looked like it was quiet old and had been their for a few days.

Sadly, this place was a huge disappointment. I would not recommend to anyone.

This place has a lot of Gluten free options.
Their chai latte though seemed to be from a mix and so was a little hot in the throat although the coffee is good.

I felt very uncomfortable because of the woman raising her voice at her staff behind the counter. It was very awkward to stand there and watch that happen. Will not be returning based on my experience. It Did not feel like you were getting a hug..
