If I could give zero stars, I would. My Eggs Benny were bland—nothing but butter—and even though I ordered extra sauce, there was barely any. The bacon wasn’t even cut; they just laid two whole strips across both Benedicts instead of properly portioning them. The club was just as disappointing: soggy bread, half a tomato, wilted lettuce that looked more like cooked spinach, and it wasn’t even cut. We were told the old owners of the mission Horse Brunch had taken over, which is why we gave it a try, but if that’s the case, they have a lot to fix. We won’t be back.

My husband and I have frequented the cafe mostly for breakfast which we’ve always enjoyed. Today we stopped by for lunch. He ordered the burger and fries which was good, but I ordered the Rueben and onion rings. Rueben had to be the worst sandwich I’ve come across. The meat was so tough that I had a hard time biting into it and the bottom of the sandwich was so soggy from the sauerkraut. We sent it back and told them we didn’t want another. The owner said we had to pay for half, which totally shocked me. I don’t mind paying for the onion rings but was highly surprised about having to pay for half the sandwich that was sent back.

I got the matsqui burger and fries and a coffee it was ok fries tasted like McDonald's fries so salty the lettuce in the burger did not taste fresh
