Very good sushi for delivery! It was fresh and the special rolls were a decent portion size. I loved how much ginger they gave, too. Will try this place again.

Best sushi in Abbotsford! Excellent service and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. Also, they do not charge for gluten-free soy sauce or tea! The premium real crab rolls can be made GF friendly, so good! Over 6 visits the fish, scallops and rice were fresh tasting every time, both dine-in and take-out!

I have been going to this restaurant since they were in Langley. The food is next level when it comes to Sushi. I see a lot of complaints about portion sizes, you get what you pay for, quality over quantity.
I see a few one to two stars reviews, one who hasn’t rated a sushi restaurant over 3 stars, perhaps they should try a new food type. The other gives pizza pizza a five star review, enough said about that.
Joan and Ra are fantastic people, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and lastly it is a great value as compared to other sushi restaurants.

Very expensive for very small portions. Will not return. Had an Alaska roll and teri chicken lunch box. No wonder this place was empty

Dishwashing water miso ramen
I don’t often write comments, but this is One of the most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had at a Japanese-style restaurant in BC.
• My first dish, the miso ramen, was completely inedible — it literally tasted like dish-washing water. The noodles are sadly tough and the beef in there is bland and a bit bitter-taste. All of my friends at the table tried it and agreed. I politely asked for a replacement. My friend recommended me this place, and now he is sorry. We asked the server and he explained they changed recipe of it. Very unfortunate for any old customer like my friend, and very reflective for a new customer like me.
• The replacement was a California box (beef teriyaki, tempura, and salad). While technically edible, I’d rate the ramen –10/10 and the box maybe 4/10. The beef teriyaki was far too sweet (maybe personal preference) but also dry, almost like jerky. The California rolls, and the tempura were the only decent parts — the batter was crispy and well-fried. The salad, however, had the same off-taste (or just the ramen’s aftertaste was still lingering in my mouth).
• Service was polite at first, but when paying, the server told me he was “shocked” that I had called their food garbage in his face— which I never said. That made the air awkward. What I did say was that the ramen tasted like dish-washing water. Harsh? Yes. Honest? Absolutely. Instead of reflecting, he got defensive.
• For a place that looks decent from the outside, having only 2–3 tables filled at 6 PM on a Saturday now makes complete sense.
I’m the type of person who almost always finishes my plate (cultural habit — I don’t like wasting food). But this time I couldn’t even finish the replacement box. I cook a lot and had went many authentic restaurants of different cultures myself, I could be a bit more picky than most people but the ramen was beyond picky or not. Maybe they do have some better dishes, but certainly not the miso ramen. And after that defensive attitude from the server, I was left wondering whether the second dish was even safe.
I won’t come again, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone with a decent taste or knowledge of any authentic Japanese dish should taste like.

Take out order made in store.
This was $25.00. Quite the cost for 2 basic maki’s and 4 nigiri, but when I ordered I expected some high quality healthy portions. See photos with chop sticks for scale.
Good
Very nice salmon nigiri, both presentation, flavour, and portion.
Bad
Very skimpy portions in salmon maki.
Tuna maki slightly malodorous with oxidizing around edges.
