Way to expensive for (at best) average food.
This airport lounge has slow service. Unfortunately I believe it's under staffed and takes along time to order.
Was warned a long wait to order food if ordering menu food. They have pre made sandwiches. Beer fridges need to be tuened up. Not very cold.
Small town airport lounge. Can't expect much I guess.

UPDATE 2: Your only option for food after security. Theres hot and grab & go options here. For a small airport, the available food is decent.
UPDATE: we picked up a Pesto Chicken Panini while waiting for our flight. It was flavorful and fresh. The panini was grilled with a nice crisp while the pesto made the chicken moist. Will eat here again if hungry.
It's the only restaurant pass security at Abbotsford International Airport. There is an attached bar along with a seating area.
Food includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, and soup. I ordered the chicken fingers with fries for my little one. As others have commented, it does take a bit of time to receive your order, so make sure you have enough time before boarding to order. I chalk this up to the fact that food is made to order along with the fact that it is the only restaurant pass security.
The chicken fingers were hot. They consisted of white meat and were plenty crunchy and crispy. Dipped in the Buffalo sauce I requested, they were decent. The fries were like Costco's , and a friend who worked there told me came from the Cavendish brand. They tasted great. Like Costco fries, they do go limpy if you let them cool down.
Overall, they serve a niche, and prices reflected a typical airport restaurant. If you're hungry, go with the basics.

Please note that this location is in the departure lounge at Abbotsford Airport and cannot be accessed by the general public.
I visited on a Wednesday evening in July, before 8 pm. I found that the kitchen was closed and only prepackaged snacks were available. There were very few soft drinks available, with one refrigerator completely empty and the other 2/3 empty. The bar did seem to be operational but on discovery of the expensive prices, we decided to give it a miss.
The only saving grace is that the view from departures of Mount Baker at the airport is very nice.
