The R restaurant is not affiliated with the rondezvous . It was bought and changed. the menu has been changed and is very bad. if it was not for the server we would have left. the bacon on the burger you could not chew and was cooked to being very bad.We got married in the previous rendezvous and all that is left is some tables at the new place. you can not even get a Greek salad. it was very bad. we will not go back to the R resturant ever.

Tried the place for the first time. The service was good. Ambience was calm and nice too. Didnt like the seating much in the lounge though. Ordered Mai Tai and Mexican Bulldog for the starters with some Coconut Prawns and Halal Wings(mix). It was all good except for Mai Tai. Also got Park Avenue and Blue Hawaiian with Creamy Mushroom Dip which was all great as well. All in all it was good. Surely Recommended!

Went there for Sunday brunch... poor service no cutlery, poorly stocked items. Scrambled eggs tasted like fish. Barf. Price was outrageous family of 4 $115 dollars. I have had way better continental breakfasts at dive motels.....

Excellent service, especially waiter Brandon. Nachos and schnitzel were mediocre though the drinks were nice. Atmosphere is not bad but all the furniture is showing wear and tear.

Came here after hearing good things. The breakfast buffet was a joke. No bacon, the Eggs Benedict had no ham just eggs, English muffin and a small amount of hollandaise. The serving stations were messy and NOT CLEAN. The food was empty half the time. The only good thing was the server was nice. Paid $25 per person for the buffet ?? Also overheard the manager telling another customer that the bacon is too expensive so they won’t be serving it anymore.

As soon as we opened the front door there was an offensive odour, and I should have turned around then. The restaurant was dim, and dingy. It is attempting to present as upscale, but the carpets were dirty, the booths were shabby, and the low lighting seemed as though it was an attempt to hide that rather than add to the ambience. There was no music playing, so you could not only hear all the conversations going on in the kitchen, but also the toilet being flushed and the sink running in the bathroom. Five+ large televisions are mounted over the bar, in direct contrast to the decor. It feels like this restaurant has no identity. The menu is unfocused, and bizarre. They claim to be Mediterranean with a Canadian slant, but then have dishes like kung pao chicken, and a quesadilla. The menu is too big, and too varied for anything to be executed well, and that was definitely our experience.I had the special, a lasagna that was recommended strongly by our waiter. It was a large portion, as promised, but that was the only positive. The sauce was boring. The edges were overcooked, and hard to chew. The cheese on top was browned on the surface, and barely melted underneath. The garlic ciabatta bread had never even been in the same room with a clove of garlic, and was dry. I didn't finish, and the left overs ended up in the trash. My husband had the steak, which he said was fine, but the mashed potatoes were mediocre, and the vegetables were almost certainly frozen, and overly soft. In the middle of August in farm country there is no excuse for not serving fresh, seasonal produce with a ~$40 plate. Our other guest had the caesar salad and prawns, and her garlic ciabatta bread was equally disappointing, the salad only passably good. The drinks menu reads like a cocktail guide for novices. No signature cocktails, nothing modern or interesting. Long Island Iced Teas and Kamikazes are something even an amateur bartender can make, and seem very dated.I was disappointed with every aspect of our dining experience, with the exception of the staff. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and affable. The food took a reasonable amount of time to arrive. I believe the kitchen staff is making due with a crummy menu, bad recipes, and lackluster ingredients.Save yourself the disappointment, and spend your money elsewhere. I absolutely will not be back.

Went to Sunday brunch Aug 6th 2023. Food was good. But they were always out of food and the line to get more food was over 25 mins. If we hadn't gotten here before they opened we would have to had waited 30 mins to get our first plate. Paid $25 dollars per person and got $15 worth of food because the line was so long. Don't waste your time here. Might as well go to a regular restaurant for breakfast you will get more food and won't have to wait near as long.

Went for the brunch buffet today and disappointed is an understatement. The line to get food was 15+ minutes, and by the time I got to the stations, the majority were empty. My partner went up after me so one of us could stay with our child and waited the 15-20 minutes to dish up. Again - no bacon, eggs, french toast, pancakes, or eggs benedict. The pictures of the buffet online are false advertising. The lunch items were sad - none looked appetizing. Absolutely not worth the price. Save your money and your precious time. Even Denny's is better than what we experienced today. Won't be back.

my favourite restaurant by far. amazing food & service. I come often & at this point the staff feel like family. I couldn't ask for a better spot to wind down after a long day. ive never felt so welcome anywhere as i do here. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. I wouldn't change a thing, it's the perfect spot.

Went for the buffet, it was ok. The food was fresh, but selection was limited, and nothing was memorable enough to warrant a desire to go back a second time.Perhaps the regular menu would be worth exploring if I ever end up there again.

First time here and I had the Asian stir fry for lunch was delicious and just the right amount. We sat outside and it was comfortable with lots of shade on a hot august day. Jamie are waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Would definitely go back again.

It's okay. My friend chose the restaurant, we understood that it was a Greek restaurant but it had a bit of everything on the menu. The menu is gigantic which, to me, means they can't possibly have it all fresh on hand. The prices are high, especially if most of it is coming out of pre-made packages. I ordered the steak and it wasn't great. Server was friendly, atmosphere was okay. Nothing particularly cool or special about it. I have no plans of going back, I like to eat at restaurants which make food better and fresher than I can.
