Reserved a table on our way to a concert, accident on the highway delayed us 40mins. When I called to cancel the staff member said if we knew what we wanted to order when we came in they’d prioritize our order. Sat at the bar with the owner, he advised us which dishes had shorter prep times, let us try a wine or two, and I’m not joking that our food was up in 15mins! Service was out of this world, food was excellent, good wine list! They made us feel like VIP’s and we got to our concert on time!

We were given gift certificates for Restaurant 62 a few years ago and decided to celebrate our 41st Anniversary there last night. This being our first visit to Restaurant 62, we were not too sure what to expect. We were amazed by the ambience and the phenomenal food and believe we have found our new 'favourite' restaurant! We have thanked our friends for introducing us and now understand why it is their 'go to' restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary dinner!

The food was excellent and I wish my review could be only for that but unfortunately our first experience was not great otherwise. We choose Restaurant 62 for our anniversary and the four dishes we tried were delicious and I applaud the chef and kitchen staff. Our waiter, while not rude, did not attend our table to refresh drinks or water (until I finally asked) and we were left with the dessert menu so long that eventually we just got a bill and went elsewhere for dessert which was disappointing because the food was so good.

Fan-friggin-tastic! We live in Maple Ridge and instead of driving into Van for celebrations these days, we come here. We have visited multiple times and have always had stellar service, delicious food and drinks, and we love the laid-back intimate (yet childfriendly) environment. Parking is easy, price is very reasonable for what you get, and the food is always delicious. Nice atmosphere and decor as well plus they have a patio for the warmer months. We appreciate that the restaurant is divided into different rooms as it keeps the volume down while being able to still accommodate larger groups. Highly recommend.

I’m sad to say this place was a letdown.
We ordered five dishes, and none of them worked.
Everything tasted like a failed attempt that had been sitting in the fridge for a few days.
The food was generally bland, with no real flavor to anything.
Service was good but not exceptional.

An esthetically beautiful restaurant with absolutely amazing service. Our waitress Sarah was incredibly attentive to our group. Cocktails were all delicious, great wine selections and the mocktails read to look to be tasty too.
The presentation of all of the dishes were impeccable. My meal was very flavorful however, I should have went with my usual of a steak. I ordered the porkchop. Itself and the sides were cooked and spiced very well. The meal was well combined and flavored for a great taste. Hoever, the porkchop was very fatty and gritty with little actual meat. I will not fault Restaurant 62 as it can happen with this cut of meat. My friends meals were all delicious with no complaints.

I made reservation for dinner on November 6th, for November 15th at 6:00 PM, at that time the person asked if this was a special occasion. Yes, it was my wife’s birthday. We arrived at Restaurant at 6:00 and was greeted by the hostess with “Good evening do you have a reservation? Yes. As she escorted us to our table her comment was “I have another party coming in at 7:30 so you will have an hour and a half”. In my 70 years I have never heard such a comment. We were seated at 6:00, waitress arrived at our table to get drink order at 6:20. Drinks arrived at 6:35. Our meal order was placed. We did order mussels as an appetizer, by the way they were very good, arrived at 6:50. Dinner arrived at 7:10, was very tasty as well. Finished our entre at 7:25. We were not offed another drink or a dessert menu when our table was cleared. The assumption was it was time to go. At 7:35 check was received and paid. Clearly the hostess comments put a major dampener on the occasion. I have given Restaurant 62 a 5-star rating for a major disappointment.

Everything was exceptional! Our waitress Venmar was only on her second night and was great. We had some dietary concerns so she invited the owner Jeff over who went through each item we had questions about wth us explaining what was in them and how they could be modified to be safe. Easy when everything is made fresh in-house. The honey cruller dessert was definitely a highlight. Will be back for sure.

The food was excellent as usual. The only thing that could have been better was my wife's potatoes as they were wedges which she was not fond of. Otherwise everything was great as it always is there. Highly recommended!

One of my favourite restaurants ever! We are so lucky to have such a great farm to table restaurant in Abbotsford, that is so reasonably priced compared to similar places in Vancouver. I am always blown away by how good it is. Each dish is packed with flavour and you can tell it’s made with care. Service is always top notch. I’ve introduced this restaurant to a few people and they’ve been equally impressed. Their desserts and coffee are also incredible.
