We found the diversity in the menu was not there which was disappointing. Staff were very nice. My bottom was a bit sore after sitting in the basic “diner” type chair for the hour. It just had no padding. The restaurant was very clean - bathroom excellent. Wine was nice. Disappointed in desert. They gave me a spoon to eat the Paris Brest and I had a hard time cutting through the crust with it. Used my fingers instead... not great for a $200.00 fine dining experience. As foodies we won't be back.

This restaurant just went on my top go to fine dining restaurant. Great food and you can really taste the high quality food. If they package their potato fondant that goes with my tender short rib, I will definitely buy lots of that. Two thumbs up, indeed!

Food was overpriced for what you get I.e. corndog for $23. Mains had over reduced sauce and too much sauce. Some of the food lacked seasoning. Drink menu was very limited. Bread was not worth the free price tag and served in rusty buckets (rust ring inside). Service was adequate but abit inattentive at times i.e. not offered cream and sugar for coffee. Water not filled regularly.
My wife and I went out for dinner at R62 - we go many times a year. Friday night was a great dinner experience. Specials were great - chicken pot pie appie - delicious. Duck wonton soup - superb Lamb dinner - amazing. And topped it off pumpkin cheesecake mousse with vanilla ice cream. A wonderful evening out.
Celebrated my birthday here. Wife took me out for a fancy lunch while the kids were at school. Great service, great food.... Attention to detail here for sure... Everything made from scratch. We don't come here enough... And I don't know why?.... Food was priced on par with franchise chains in town..... But a notch better overall .... We'll be back.

We had such a nice date at restaurant 62. We made a reservation ahead of time so we were seated right away. Our server was excellent, so friendly and attentive and gave us lots of time to just sit and chat without feeling pressure to order right away. We started with soda and a fruit punch to drink. My husband had the spaghettini and I had the scallops to start. For the entree he had the duck and I had the chicken. They were absolutely delicious and so flavourful. We really enjoyed our meals. We were too full for dessert but I'd like to go back and try the other items.

I was hoping for an unforgettable experience but the food component fell short. Service and ambiance were excellent. Prices were fair. The chicken on ciabatta was good, the serving was larger than expected but not exceptional. The pasta dish, chicken gargenelli, was very decent and a larger than expected serving . Overall enough positives that we would return to try other items.

He had some great suggestions, and the chef was able to customize a special to meet my wife's dietary restrictions. Cozy atmosphere, and generous portions for a fine dining experience.
